About the Venue Château Sentout is a storied 17th-century estate located just 18km from Bordeaux, in the heart of the Gironde. The estate’s documented history dates back to 1650, with notable ownership including Jean Letellier, a Bordeaux ship-chandler active in transatlantic trade, and later Eugène Fichot, a French Academy of Sciences member. Originally a wine-producing estate until 1972, its buildings have been restored into an expansive private hamlet, evocative of a traditional French village. For weddings, Sentout offers exclusive weekend or midweek hire, transforming its stone courtyards, enclosed lawns, and reception spaces into a private destination for up to 100 guests.
