An 18th-century food-centric boutique wedding estate in the heart of Gascony, South West France, blending art, gastronomy, nature and architecture across 30 acres for exclusive-use multi-day celebrations of 50–120 guests.

The Venue History

18th century · 18th-century French country estate with 11th-century Romanesque chapel ruins

The historical site dates back to the 11th century. The 18th-century residence has been lovingly renovated over the course of 20 years by owner Marwan Badran, who moved to Gascony in 2005 to establish Chateau Engalin as a Culinary Utopian Retreat. The romantic Rose Chapel dates back to the 11th century.
