16th to 18th centuries · 18th-century elegant symmetrical manor with 16th-century Henry IV wings and mansard roofs
The Château de Bouthonvilliers has belonged to the de Verdun family for more than 200 years. Originally called Boscovilore (House in the woods), the estate features an elegant 18th-century central body with mansard roofs flanked by two 16th-century Henry IV wings. The château was classified as a Monument Historique due to its refined symmetrical architecture.
