A chateau with romantic legend: an aristocrat fell in love with a shepherdess working on the estate and decided to marry her, defying aristocratic norms. To celebrate their union, they planted a Lebanese cedar in the gardens. When their twins were born, a violent storm struck and lightning split the cedar in two, symbolizing both the strength and fragility of their love. The split cedar remains today as a focal point of the gardens, attracting couples seeking to marry in a place steeped in romance and legend.
