This editorial at Chateau du Prieure d'Evecquemont, a secluded neoclassical wedding estate near Paris explored the balance between vintage sentiment and contemporary grace. Styled by Nick Zharkov and Irena Balashko with blush florals by Tonight and two distinct bridal looks, the shoot unfolded across the ivy-clad facade and golden interiors of this elegant wedding venue in the Ile-de-France countryside.
Getting Ready

The morning unfolded in the Blue Room, where powder-blue walls and quiet natural light set a calm tone. The bride slipped into a structured silk gown by The Cadess with a modern off-the-shoulder neckline, with a romantic vintage dress from Retro Me ready for the reception. Alesia Solo finished her look with sheer gloves, bold earrings, and soft natural makeup. The groom dressed in a cream jacket and tailored trousers by Herse 1868.
Bridal Portraits

Inside a grand salon, the bride reached up to touch a crystal and brass chandelier, her ivory gown cascading in soft layers behind her. Alex Vaidean then moved outdoors to the gravel forecourt, where she leaned against a large stone column with her eyes closed, the classical facade of the chateau and manicured topiary hedges stretching behind her in quiet symmetry.
Couple Portraits

Alex Vaidean captured the couple on the gravel driveway using a mix of digital, 35mm, and medium format film. In one frame, they posed behind a vintage British-style dark green convertible; in another, the bride sat on the running board while the groom stood with one hand resting on the door. Indoors, a candid first-look moment showed them sharing a glance in a salon filled with natural light.
Reception

The reception moved indoors to a grand room where the bride stood beside a formally dressed dining table, glancing back over her shoulder in a second draped ivory silk gown. Maison Mayle created a four-tier ivory fondant cake decorated with white bow details, which the couple cut outdoors in front of the classical stone colonnade as the afternoon light softened.
Design and Details

Tonight built floral arrangements in gentle hues of blush, toffee, and warm neutrals that spilled organically down the steps and across the long dining table styled with lace, fruit, and antique silver. Natalia Janowska designed the invitation suite, displayed alongside velvet ring boxes and a gold engagement ring with an oval orange-red gemstone set in a diamond halo on a dark antique surface.
