Maddie and Matt gathered friends at Abbaye Saint Eusebe, a medieval abbey wedding venue near Aix-en-Provence, for a celebration wrapped in white florals, candlelight, and 12th-century Romanesque stone. The all-white palette ran from ceremony archway to reception drapery, grounding the day in the quiet beauty of Provence's most distinctive wedding destinations near Aix-en-Provence.
Getting Ready

Maddie dressed in a fitted ivory lace gown that caught the light as she moved through the abbey's stone corridors. The getting-ready moments unfolded in a quiet room within the medieval walls, where soft focus and natural window light shaped the early frames.
Ceremony

Vows were exchanged beneath a white floral archway on the abbey's garden lawn, with rows of white chairs facing the procession. Bridesmaids in off-white walked ahead of Maddie, and Matt waited in a classic dark suit. Anne-Sophie My Ceremonie officiated as birdsong mixed with quiet applause and the breeze lifted fabric along the aisle. Ayata Weddings captured the procession and the guests' walk through shaded garden paths afterward.
Bridal Portraits

Ayata Weddings photographed Maddie on the manicured lawn, her ivory lace gown crisp against the abbey's weathered stone. A single circular light behind her profile created a dramatic contrast, while garden greenery softened the edges of the Romanesque arches framing each shot.
Bridal Party

Six bridesmaids in off-white joined Maddie for group portraits along the cloistered path. The tonal uniformity of the dresses against the abbey's pale limestone gave the images a quiet consistency, and the formation loosened into candid laughter as the group moved toward the ceremony lawn.
Reception

Dinner unfolded inside the abbey's Romanesque stone hall, where added drapery shaped height and softness above long tables. Candlelight reflected off the ancient walls as plates of French cuisine reached each setting. Cigales et Petits Fours directed the service pacing, and the couple's first dance was photographed by Ayata Weddings in black and white, capturing silhouettes against the stone.
Design and Details

The all-white palette ran from bouquets to table arrangements, with Gama Event building soft greenery-and-white compositions that complemented the medieval stonework. An arch-shaped acrylic welcome sign marked the entrance, and monochrome details kept the visual story cohesive from ceremony through dinner.
Venue

Abbaye Saint Eusebe's 12th-century Romanesque arches, weathered limestone walls, and quiet courtyards anchored every transition of the day. An outdoor ceremony setup beneath a ceremony arch overlooked the garden lawn, while the interior hall's vaulted ceilings and stone pillars gave the reception weight and warmth.
