A Pandemic Transformation: Restoring the Chateau

Like so many people, life changed during the Covid Pandemic, and 5 days before the birth of their daughter. The couple left Paris and sought refuge in this haven of peace in Franche-Comté. The castle, closed for 15 years, was lovingly restored by the young couple. Who braved the icy winter of 2020 with no heat, while they transformed the Chateau into a world-class hotel, a wedding venue, and a haven of relaxation.

Staying true to the Neo-Gothic style, each room was decorated in a Chateau Spirit. Meticulously restoring the ancient fixtures and fittings, the priceless wooden poster beds, the winding staircases, pressed ceilings, and ornate fireplaces. The pink stone of Vosges was used for the façade and local wood was hand carved for the parquet floors. The entrance dominates with vaulted arches and cathedral-style stained glass windows.
