Scarlet Hour Editorial at Château du Griffon in the Luberon Valley
Chilli pepper meets pearl at Château du Griffon in the Luberon. An autumn styled shoot with red anthuriums, a Gisèle et Simone gown, and drone…

Red anthuriums against freshwater pearl. A sculptural gown pooling on sun-warmed stone. The creative team behind The Scarlet Hour chose Château du Griffon in the Luberon Valley for its honey-coloured facades and Mediterranean parkland, a canvas warm enough to hold a colour story built on heat and restraint. Conceived by luxury wedding designer Nymphéa Kinds and captured by Provence wedding photographer Milan Pacini, this autumn editorial brought fashion, food, and floral sculpture together at one of the South of France's most private estates.
Getting Ready

Pearl earrings and a freshwater pearl necklace by Paviot Créateur set the tone from the first frame, cool lustre against warm skin. The sculptural gown by Gisèle et Simone anchored the bridal look, fluid and contemporary. A second outfit pushed the mood further: a short dress with an oversized ribbon paired with red pointed shoes. The groom prepared separately in slants of Provençal sunlight.
Bridal Portraits

Against the château's weathered stone walls and iron balcony details, the Gisèle et Simone gown read as a study in modern silhouette against old-world architecture. Red pointed shoes and chilli-shaped earrings brought the editorial's colour story into every close-up.
Couple Portraits

Golden hour delivered the editorial's most charged frames. Albi and Noé settled into garden lounge chairs as late afternoon light turned amber, the plane trees and olive groves of the Luberon behind them. Then movement: the groom carrying the bride, twirling through the garden, a kiss mid-turn. An aerial drone shot captured them riding a vintage car through the estate, the Provençal landscape stretching toward the valley.
Reception

Red anthuriums, carnations, and glossy chilli stems woven alongside cascading pearl strands by Fleurs Sucrées, each arrangement treated as sculpture. Glassware from Options Aix-en-Provence caught the warm Provençal glow. Champagne glasses held chilli garnishes over ice, cocktails arrived in martini glasses with pearl accents, and personalised matchsticks sat beside menus on red-and-white place settings. Villa Thérèse Patisserie's pastry tower, dressed with red ribbon, completed a table where every object spoke fire and pearl.
Design and Details

Chilli pepper meets pearl: bold yet controlled, raw yet polished. Nymphéa Kinds conceived tablescapes as visual compositions, with floral designs by Fleurs Sucrées weaving red anthuriums and glossy chilli stems alongside pearl strands. Stationery by Précieux Papiers carried the red-and-white palette into print, drinks by Maison Giulia brought it to the glass. The contrast ran through every layer: heat against cool lustre, passion held in check.
Flat Lays

A menu card in red and white alongside a chilli-garnished drink, pearl strands, and pointed red shoes. A full invitation suite arranged with ribbon, shoes, and fresh chilli stems created the overview shot, communicating the editorial's aesthetic in one image. Every object placed with the precision of a fashion editorial at a Provençal château wedding venue.
