Olivia and Alexander brought lilac, peach, and sage green to a spring celebration at Mas de la Rose, a boutique wedding venue and farmhouse hotel near Eygalieres. Under the creative direction of Maison Bounon, every element replaced conventional blush and ivory with a palette that felt genuinely alive against weathered limestone and afternoon sun, captured by Nicolas Elsen, a fine-art wedding photographer in Provence. Getting Ready

Charlene Dolo worked with a barely-there hand on the bride's makeup, a soft wash of peach on the eyelids and rosewood lip tint. Hair fell in natural, loose waves pinned with a spray of small dried chamomile. The getting-ready suite at Mas de la Rose flooded with morning light, and the Les Grandioses gown in ivory silk crepe hung ready, its low off-the-shoulder neckline sitting in a wide curve that needed nothing added.

Rows of white garden chairs faced a low altar built from natural branches and flooded with blooms by Les Fleurs de Ninon Atelier, garden roses in blush and lilac, trailing amaranth in deep plum, and clusters of yellow ranunculus. The ceremony took place directly in front of the farmhouse's old-stone facade. The sound of cicadas rose and fell in waves beyond the olive grove, an entirely Provencal soundtrack.

Against the old farmhouse facade, its stone interrupted by climbing fig and trailing white roses, the bride's ivory Les Grandioses gown read almost cream in the Provencal light. Nicolas Elsen shot in the late-morning haze, catching the moment her veil lifted in a soft gust and wrapped briefly around a lavender spike. The peach and lilac florals by Les Fleurs de Ninon Atelier framed her without competing.

Nicolas Elsen found the golden hour portraits in the olive grove at the edge of the property, the trees throwing long shadows across pale gravel. The couple turned toward each other mid-laugh, foreheads almost touching, and he caught it without interrupting. The bride's silk crepe gown moved with every light breeze, and the groom's linen suit in pale dove grey picked up every tone in the landscape.

Dinner sat under the plane trees, fairy lights wound through the canopy above long tables draped in linen the colour of unbleached muslin. Options tableware in sage and terracotta sat alongside mismatched vintage glassware, and Ciergerie Des Premontres candles burned in clusters. LB Cake Design presented four tiers in rough textured buttercream decorated with pressed pansies in violet and trailing pale peach sweet pea.

Maison Bounon threaded the peach-to-lilac gradient through every surface: florals, stationery, tapers, and even the custom La Parfumerie Arlesienne fragrance, which opened with neroli and settled into violet and iris. Les Fleurs de Ninon Atelier worked with sweet William, garden roses, ranunculus, amaranth, sweet pea, and freesia, the arrangements loose enough to look gathered from a real garden.

Stationery from Zeste d'Amour set the colour tone: envelopes in dusty lilac, hand-lettered menus in sage ink, and wax seals in warm terracotta. A custom fragrance from La Parfumerie Arlesienne sat beside candles from Ciergerie Des Premontres, their creamy wax threaded with dried lavender. The jewellery selection by Laetitia Raoux included a delicate gold chain adorned with a single pearl drop.

The stone walls of Mas de la Rose glow warm amber in spring light, as if the building itself is part of the garden. The farmhouse's courtyard, shaded by mature plane trees and framed by terracotta urns overflowing with rosemary, set the stage for every moment. Vintage lanterns cast pools of gold across the gravel as evening approached, and the scent of lavender from the surrounding Alpilles fields was constant.
