Getting Ready

A three-panel composite image documenting the bridal getting-ready process inside what appears to be a chateau. The top image shows a wide shot of a large, light-filled room with a crystal chandelier, tall French windows, and parquet flooring, where approximately six to seven women are seated around a table having hair and makeup done, while two others stand near a four-poster bed draped in toile fabric in the foreground. The bottom-left panel is an overhead shot showing a woman in a pink satin robe seated near an open makeup kit with a large array of professional cosmetics and tools spread across a patterned rug. The bottom-right panel shows a male makeup artist in a white shirt and olive trousers applying makeup to a seated woman in a pink satin robe, with a mirrored makeup station and extensive brush collection visible, photographed from above.
A bridal portrait of a single bride seated on a dark wood and deep red velvet settee or antique bench, set against a rustic stone wall with a decorative grid-cut pattern. The bride wears a blush pink strapless ballgown with a voluminous skirt featuring ruched and layered satin, and she gazes upward toward a crystal chandelier with candle-style lights hanging above her. Her dark hair is styled in loose curls with a small hair accessory, and she wears drop earrings. The setting appears to be an indoor space within a historic stone building, with a flagstone floor and warm amber lighting from the chandelier. The composition is a full-length portrait shot taken from a slightly low angle.
A collage of three getting-ready images featuring the groom and groomsmen dressed in classic black tuxedos with black bow ties and white dress shirts. Top left shows three men in a rustic stone-walled interior room helping each other adjust their attire, with a blue lamp and wooden furniture visible. Bottom left is a close-up portrait of the groom adjusting his bow tie in a mirror, captured from behind his shoulder. The right panel shows two men — likely the groom and a groomsman — posing together inside a barn-style room with exposed wooden ceiling beams, a rustic wooden sofa with patterned cushions, and a red-tiled floor, suggesting a French chateau or farmhouse venue. The overall styling is classic and formal.

Nell sat on a dark wood and deep red velvet settee set against a rustic stone wall, her pale pink Amalia Carrara ball gown catching the soft interior light. A champagne beaded headpiece and matching veil completed her romantic bridal look. Local French hair and makeup artists crafted a soft, natural style that complemented the chateau's period interiors.

Ceremony

A collage of three images from an outdoor garden wedding ceremony. Top left shows the groom in a black tuxedo standing at the altar beneath a floral arch decorated with white and pale pink blooms, with a violinist performing and bridesmaids in burgundy dresses visible in the background. Top right shows the bride being walked down the garden path by an older gentleman, likely her father; she wears a pale blush pink ballgown with a long veil and carries a blush and white bouquet, with lush green hedging lining the walkway. The bottom image is black and white and shows a close-up mid-shot of the father lifting the bride's cathedral-length veil, with the groom visible in the background wearing a black tuxedo and bow tie and a second man in glasses also present; the image has soft contrast and captures the veil-lifting moment at the altar.
A three-image collage of an outdoor garden wedding ceremony. The bride wears a full-skirted blush pink ball gown with a long cathedral veil, and stands with the groom in a dark suit beneath a large floral arch decorated with white and blush roses and lush green foliage. An officiant reads from a lectern beside them. The ceremony takes place on stone steps surrounded by dense hedging and mature garden planting, with a decorative stone fountain or garden sculpture visible in the foreground of one image. Approximately 30-40 guests are seated in rows of chairs facing the altar. The bottom-left image is a close-up detail shot of the carved stone garden sculpture with the ceremony blurred softly in the background. The top-left image provides a wide shot of the full ceremony setup showing the floral arch, bridal party in dark attire with at least one bridesmaid in a dark plum dress, and seated guests. The styling is classic and formal with a soft romantic color palette of blush and white florals.
A triptych of images capturing an outdoor wedding ceremony ritual, likely a unity or symbolic rose ceremony. In the largest left image, a woman in a champagne/blush lace long-sleeve dress and a man in a black tuxedo with bow tie and a blush boutonniere stand at a table arranging soft pink roses in glass vases. The top right black-and-white image shows the bride in a strapless gown with a long cathedral veil leaning over a silver tray or vessel, with the groom in a dark suit assisting; the image has soft contrast with mid-range tones. The bottom right color image shows the bride from behind in her veil, facing two men in dark suits and an older gentleman, all gathered around what appears to be the same ceremony table with pink roses, with additional guests visible in the background. The setting is an outdoor garden with dense greenery. All three frames are close-to-medium portrait and detail shots documenting the same ceremonial moment from different angles.
An outdoor garden ceremony captured in a medium portrait shot, showing a bride and groom exchanging vows or rings in front of a large floral arch. The arch is constructed from lush green foliage and blush pink roses, framing a vine-covered stone ruin wall in the background. The bride is seated on stone steps wearing a full-skirted blush pink ball gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline and a cathedral-length veil, holding a bouquet of blush pink roses. The groom stands with his back partially to the camera in a black suit, appearing to hold a ring or read vows. Two teal-painted metal garden chairs are visible near the arch, and the overall decor palette combines blush pink and lush greenery in a romantic garden style.

The 4pm ceremony took place in the rose garden bathed in warm afternoon light, with approximately twenty guests visible as the couple walked back up the aisle. Celebrant Pierre-Henri Therond of Love Gracefully led a blend of French and American traditions including readings, blessings, and a flower ritual. The groom's parents arranged a surprise butterfly release as the ceremony concluded.

Bridal Portraits

A couple portrait shot from directly above, with both the bride and groom looking up at the camera. The groom wears a dark charcoal suit with a white shirt and a boutonniere featuring a pink rose with baby's breath. The bride wears a strapless blush pink ballgown with a beaded silver bodice, and her dark hair is accessorized with small white flowers. The voluminous skirt of the dress fans out around the couple, filling much of the frame. The groom has his arms around the bride from behind as they sit together on what appears to be a stone floor. The composition is an overhead portrait shot that uses the spread of the dress as a natural framing device.
A diptych of two bridal portraits taken indoors in a rustic stone venue with warm-toned walls. The left image is a close-up portrait of the bride having her veil adjusted, wearing a strapless blush/champagne ballgown with beaded bodice detailing and a pendant necklace, with a sheer veil draped over her dark curled hair. The right image is a full-length portrait of the same bride standing beside a wrought-iron spiral staircase, her blush pick-up ballgown with a layered skirt fully visible, posed in front of a decorative square-pattern stone or wooden screen wall with a red upholstered sofa visible in the background. Both shots highlight the bride's blush gown and the rustic interior architecture of what appears to be a chateau or stone manor.
A bridal portrait taken outdoors, with the bride seated against a lush green climbing vine wall dotted with blush and soft pink roses. The bride wears a blush pink strapless ballgown with a crystal and beaded sweetheart bodice, paired with a two-tier elbow-length veil. She holds a compact round bouquet composed entirely of soft blush pink roses. The composition is a close-up portrait framing the bride from approximately the waist up, with climbing roses visible in the foreground and background adding depth to the shot.
A black-and-white couple portrait taken outdoors in a wild meadow setting, with the bride seated on a large stone and the groom leaning in to kiss her forehead or nose. The bride wears a full ballgown with a long veil and holds a round bouquet of what appear to be garden roses, while the groom is dressed in a dark suit with a bow tie. The image has strong contrast with bright highlights on the dress and soft mid-tones throughout the scene. In the background, a large classical French chateau with ornate facade detailing and a village roofline are visible, establishing the French countryside setting. The composition is a medium-wide portrait shot with the couple positioned slightly left of center.

A black-and-white portrait captured the bride seated on a large stone in a wild meadow while the groom leaned in for a kiss, the natural setting creating an intimate contrast to the formal chateau grounds. Color portraits among the estate's mature trees and garden paths revealed the pink ballgown in full, its voluminous skirt catching the late afternoon light.

Reception

A reception tablescape detail shot taken indoors in what appears to be a glass-walled or windowed venue with decorative iron lattice panels. The round tables are dressed in pink patterned tablecloths and set with crystal glassware, silverware, and pink folded menu cards decorated with a small blue butterfly motif. Place cards are visible along the table edge. The centerpiece is a tall clear vase filled with pink hydrangeas and baby's breath. The chairs are dark wrought-iron with scrolled backs. The overall decor palette is soft pink and white with romantic, classic styling throughout the room.

The chart features watercolor illustrations of iconic Paris landmarks — including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Pyramid, the Palais Royal, the Jardin des Tuileries, and the Opéra — used as table names, with guest names listed beneath each in calligraphy script. The couple's names, Neil and Cody, are written in large decorative red calligraphy at the center, and a small illustrated butterfly appears at the top. The Paris-themed design gives the seating plan a cohesive French capital aesthetic with a painterly, illustrative style.
An aerial overhead shot of a couple sharing a first dance on a classic black-and-cream geometric tiled floor, likely inside a French chateau. The groom is dressed in a dark suit and holds the bride's hand aloft while she wraps her other arm around him. The bride wears a full-skirted blush pink ballgown with a low back, and her dark hair is accessorized with a crystal or pearl headband. To the left, a large floral arrangement in a basket features pink hydrangeas and pale pink spray roses. The composition captures the couple from directly above, emphasizing the sweeping skirt of the gown and the ornate tile floor beneath them.
A close-up detail shot of a wedding reception table setting inside a glass-paneled pavilion or orangery with an ornate painted ceiling and a crystal chandelier overhead. The round table is dressed in a blush pink damask-patterned tablecloth and set with multiple crystal wine glasses, gold cutlery, and white napkins. The tall centerpiece features a candelabra topped with blush pink roses and trailing green ivy, holding five white taper candles. A small gold ornate frame displaying an Eiffel Tower illustration serves as a Paris-themed table name card reading 'Tour Eiffel,' establishing a French capital theme for the wedding. Additional round tables with wrought iron chairs are visible in the background, along with what appears to be a pink floral arrangement. The overall decor palette combines blush pink, gold, and green in a classic French-inspired style.

A five-course dinner featuring foie gras, lobster, and beef Wellington was served in the Salon de Musique, followed by dancing beneath rose and ivy arrangements suspended from the ceiling of the Grand Galerie. A hand-illustrated watercolor seating chart guided guests to their tables. The evening concluded with a fifteen-minute firework display over the chateau grounds.

Design and Details

The box includes a Paris-motif journal or notebook with Eiffel Tower and French typography graphics, a round tin decorated with an Eiffel Tower image, a small wrapped package tied with brown ribbon, a small white box with a decorative charm or accessory, and gold tissue paper padding. A cream envelope with gold script handwriting reading 'Lourdes' rests against the box, along with a printed information card or program decorated with fleur-de-lis motifs and a small black-and-white photo. A decorative vintage-style key sits at the top of the box. The overall styling suggests a French-themed wedding with a Parisian aesthetic, using a warm gold, cream, and dark brown color palette.
Close-up detail shots of Paris-themed wedding table decor arranged in a four-image grid. Three of the images show ornate gold baroque-style freestanding mirror frames holding illustrated watercolor table name cards depicting Parisian landmarks — the Eiffel Tower (labeled 'Tour Eiffel'), the Louvre, and the Opéra — placed on pink patterned tablecloths alongside blush rose floral arrangements and crystal glassware. The fourth image shows a place setting detail with a pink menu card illustrated with a small fairy figure, a calligraphy place card reading 'Kyle Fras,' and silver flatware wrapped in a white napkin. The overall decor palette is blush pink and gold with a classic Parisian theme.

The floral arrangement is tightly packed with fully open roses in a uniform soft blush tone. The romantic, classic French-inspired styling is reflected in the toile fabric pattern visible in the soft-focus background.

Paris-themed table decor included ornate gold baroque-style freestanding frames, vintage postcards, and miniature Eiffel Tower accents that nodded to Nell's lifelong love of Paris and theatre. The bride walked down the aisle to All I Ask of You from The Phantom of the Opera. Welcome boxes featuring regional treats and wine greeted every guest on arrival, setting the immersive tone.

The left page features a hand-painted watercolor illustration in a whimsical, vintage carnival or masquerade style depicting costumed figures in green and yellow ball gowns, with a warm yellow wash background. The right page displays calligraphic script text in dark ink on a soft pink-washed background, detailing the wedding date of Wednesday the twelfth of June 2013 at four o'clock in the afternoon, held in the Rose Garden of Le Château des Condé, Vallery, France, with a dress code of black tie encouraged. Small illustrated details including a carriage, flowers, and decorative figures are scattered throughout both pages.
An elevated wide shot looking down over the manicured grounds of a French stone chateau or manor property, showing a large formal lawn bordered by neatly trimmed box hedges arranged in a geometric pattern. Six people in casual attire are scattered across the lawn, appearing to play croquet or a similar lawn game. The property features a substantial medieval-style stone building with a ruined archway section to the right, and a gravel terrace with white garden furniture visible in the background. The setting suggests a pre-wedding or cocktail hour activity during a cloudy day. Potential venue feature image.

The left panel is a detail shot of a blush pink strapless ball gown with a ruched and layered skirt, hanging from the spiral staircase railing. The right panel is a portrait of three women — likely the bride and two bridesmaids — posing together, all wearing matching light pink satin robes with tie waists; their hair and makeup are already done, suggesting they are mid-preparation. The overall palette centers on blush and light pink, and the setting has a classic rustic character.

The overall tonal range is high-contrast with deep blacks in the foliage and mid-grey tones on the statue and couple.
