Under the canopy of a vast old tree in the gardens, guests sat in an open-air ring of wooden chairs while green and white florals on slim iron pedestals flanked a fabric-draped aisle. Ivory chiffon lifted in the afternoon air from the lower branches. A bridesmaid and longtime friend officiated with warmth, humour, and perfectly unscripted timing.

Bridesmaids in soft sage chiffon by Azazie stood against the stone archways, their colour matching the stems in the floral arrangements. On the tree-lined gravel driveway, Dina popped a champagne bottle mid-laugh, arms wide, her gown's deep front slit on full display.
