Stijn and Jasmijn chose a refined 18th-century wedding estate in the heart of Provence for an autumn celebration built on texture, movement, and quiet beauty. Melanie Huibers captured every detail across the stone courtyards and formal gardens of this sun-drenched wedding destination in southern Provence, where minimalist styling met golden October light.
Getting Ready

Stijn adjusted his bow tie before a gilded mirror while Jasmijn slipped into a halter gown by Keep Its Find Bridal, its detachable skirt finished with a structured bow at the back. Nymphea Kinds pinned her hair into a low chignon and added a sweep of warm bronze shadow that caught the morning light filtering through the tall salon windows.
Ceremony

Guests gathered on the gravel terrace beneath a canopy of plane trees as Stijn and Jasmijn exchanged handwritten vows. A single floral arrangement of white roses and lisianthus by By Linda Wagner anchored the scene, its pale blooms bright against the weathered stone of the archway. Warm applause followed the first kiss as late afternoon sun slanted across the courtyard.
Bridal Portraits

Jasmijn stood on the cream gravel drive with the chateau's sage-green shutters rising behind her, the full skirt of her gown catching a gentle breeze. A second set of frames moved indoors to the panelled hallway where natural light fell through floor-length windows, outlining the gown's clean silhouette against dark wood and antique gilt.
Couple Portraits

Melanie Huibers guided Stijn and Jasmijn through the formal gardens, pausing beneath the avenue of clipped limes where dappled shade softened every frame. They sat together on a cream boucle settee placed on the lawn, the chateau's three-storey facade forming a symmetrical backdrop. Later portraits moved to the reflecting pool, its still surface doubling the golden hour sky.
Reception

Dinner moved indoors beneath the chateau's grand staircase, where floral garlands of white hydrangea and trailing greenery swept along the stone balustrade. Stijn and Jasmijn poured champagne into a crystal coupe tower as candlelight flickered across the long table. Suits by PAKKEND kept the groomsmen in sharp tonal greys that echoed the evening's restrained palette.
Design and Details

Juud Wedding and Styling curated a palette of white and soft blush across crisp linen runners and low ceramic vessels filled with garden roses and hydrangea by By Linda Wagner. Aline I Ivy Design created raw-edge stationery arranged on marble slabs scattered with loose petals, while rings by Solitude the Label rested on a textured stone surface nearby.
