Daphne and Sebbe brought seventy guests to Chateau de Tourreau, an elegant 18th-century wedding estate in Provence for a summer celebration built around a French-garden palette of blush, lavender, butter yellow, and powder blue. From an outdoor ceremony on the gravel drive to a courtyard dinner beneath string lights, every moment unfolded across one of the most romantic countryside chateau wedding venues in Provence with warmth, colour, and the easy rhythm of a couple who chose feeling over formality.
Getting Ready

Daphne dressed in one of the chateau's sunlit upper rooms, her Atelier ExC strapless satin ballgown with its beaded bodice hanging from a stone window arch. Pearl-embellished ivory stilettos waited by the door. The Wedding Chapter styled soft waves and dusty rose tones while bridesmaids gathered with champagne down the corridor, the mood relaxed and warm before the afternoon ahead.
Ceremony

Gold-framed Louis XVI chairs lined the gravel drive beneath the main facade, each seat holding a small floral posy by Annelies Vansant. Daphne walked toward Sebbe on her father's arm, the full skirt of her strapless satin gown trailing across the stone. Tim Grand played as vows were exchanged beneath open summer skies, and the aisle erupted in applause and drifting petals as the couple turned back together.
Bridal Portraits

Against the classical facade with its sage-green shutters, the Atelier ExC gown became luminous on pale stone. Amanda Drost photographed Daphne on the driveway holding a parasol with dark floral detailing, the full trailing skirt pooling behind her. On the curved staircase with its wrought-iron scrollwork and through the ornate double doors, each frame found a new angle on the same silhouette.
Couple Portraits

Amanda Drost took Daphne and Sebbe into the gardens alone in the late afternoon, working quickly with the fast-dropping Provencal sun. On a mint-green iron bench, mid-spin on the gravel pathway, and embracing in the formal salon, her frames shifted between colour and black and white. One quiet image of the two of them in the chateau's panelled interior says everything the speeches tried to.
Bridal Party

The full group gathered on the cypress-lined driveway at golden hour. Bridesmaids wore a considered mix of blush and soft sage, no matching dresses but a cohesive palette held together by Annelies Vansant's buttonholes tied with raw linen twine. Groomsmen flanked Sebbe in black tuxedos, and one unexpected composition placed Daphne surrounded by six men in formal attire.
Cocktail Hour

The Riviera Roaming Band moved through the courtyard as guests spilled onto the lawn, champagne flutes catching the light. Round white tables with coral-and-white-striped cushions sat beneath cream parasols while Frederic Bernard's team circulated Provencal canapes. The chateau's limestone facade with its carved caryatid figures rose behind the scene as the afternoon stretched into early evening.
Reception

A single long banquet table stretched the courtyard beneath the three-storey facade, dressed in blush linens with tall tapers shimmering above low floral arrangements. Frederic Bernard's menu leaned into summer: slow-roasted lamb with herbed jus, lavender panna cotta, and fig tart. Speeches gave way to the first dance, then the Botticellis carried the energy deep into a night that lingered well past midnight on the cobblestones.
Design and Details

Annelies Vansant built the floral language around garden roses in cream, blush, and butter yellow, delphinium in powder blue and violet, sweet peas in lilac, and full peonies. Low arrangements ran the length of the reception table while die-cut illustrated menu cards with rococo-style watercolour borders marked each setting. Warm candlelight from tall tapers pulled the whole scene together as evening fell.
Flat Lays

Kathryn Green's stationery set the palette from the first envelope: dusty gold ink on cotton-paper stock with a pressed flower seal. Alongside sat crystal-covered Jimmy Choo pointed-toe mules, ivory vow booklets inscribed in black calligraphy, and a gold bottle of Dolce and Gabbana perfume. Each piece was arranged against natural surfaces with deliberate restraint.
Venue

Chateau de Tourreau's three-storey limestone facade, with its carved caryatid figures and sage-green shutters, served as both ceremony backdrop and reception frame. An aerial view revealed the full scale: a single banquet table stretching the length of the formal courtyard, the estate's gardens and cypress rows extending beyond.
