Charlotte and Matthieu chose Chateau de Courcelles, a red-brick estate with sweeping lawns in Hauts-de-France, for a spring celebration built entirely on restraint. Powder blue, ecru, and white florals set the tone, with Toile de Jouy linen on the table and calla lilies in the bridal bouquet. Photographed by Aurore Poupon across the countryside and historic chateaux of Hauts-de-France, every frame captures the lateral May light that turned stone to warm amber by late afternoon.
Ceremony

Beneath a tree canopy on the chateau grounds, officiant Stephanie Hills led a ceremony bathed in dappled spring light. Charlotte and Matthieu exchanged vows in a natural clearing where branches arched overhead like a woodland chapel, and the wide Picardy landscape stretched beyond the treeline.
Bridal Portraits

On the gravel driveway with the full chateau facade behind her, Charlotte commanded the frame in her Segolene Gabet gown. Aurore Poupon worked through golden backlight, close-ups where lace shadow fell across skin, and a striking black-and-white composition with wisteria cascading overhead. The ecru fabric held its own in every light condition.
Couple Portraits

Aurore Poupon worked the long backlighting at golden hour, catching sun flare between Charlotte and Matthieu as they walked, laughed, and paused against the full chateau facade. A black-and-white conversion near the stone archway stripped colour away entirely, leaving only gesture and silhouette. Earlier, by the lakeside, their private first look unfolded beneath dense trees, her ecru gown catching the filtered spring light.
Reception

Under string lights on the gravel terrace, the banquet table came alive as evening fell. Guests raised champagne glasses in a standing toast, the floodlit brick and stone facade turning the setting cinematic. Candlelight on the table warmed the blue-and-white palette into something altogether more intimate, while Une Idee de Jenny's four-tier ivory cake stood with minimal decoration.
Design and Details

Toile de Jouy linen in blue and white ran the full length of the reception table, with powder-blue napkins folded at each place and trailing eucalyptus keeping centrepieces low. Aubepine Artisan Fleuriste arranged white blooms alongside the patterned fabric, and Eulalie Deco kept the welcome signage just as clean. The stationery suite in pale blue on cream card carried the colour story from first invitation to final course.
