This refined editorial unfolded at Chateau d'Aveny, an 18th-century wedding estate in the Normandy countryside, where limestone facades and tree-lined parkland shaped every frame. Jasmin and Peonies directed the styling, and Bianca Harbison Photography captured the interplay of earthy tones, candlelight, and architectural geometry across this historic chateau wedding venue in Normandy.
Getting Ready

Les Jolies Biches worked in a first-floor room where morning sun crossed the original parquet, warming the ivory and champagne tones of the Top Bridal Paris gown on its hanger. The beauty look stayed natural: soft skin, loose waves, a minimal lip that let the freckles show. Bianca Harbison shot the process as it unfolded, catching the moment the lace bodice was buttoned and the bride turned toward the tall window to check her reflection in the glass.
Bridal Portraits

Bianca Harbison Photography framed the bride against the chateau's limestone corridors and formal balustrade terrace. One portrait caught her turning over a bare shoulder, lace bodice meeting soft green foliage behind her. A black-and-white shot down an interior hallway showed the long train of her Top Bridal Paris gown trailing across stone floors. From the terrace, the manicured French-style gardens stretched below.
Couple Portraits

Bianca Harbison Photography placed the couple within the chateau's grounds, using its grey-roofed stone facade as a recurring backdrop. Inside a large floral arch set on the garden lawn, the pair stood facing each other in natural light. Interior portraits in a classically moulded room used ornate frames and soft curtains to anchor the composition. A black-and-white frame captured their silhouettes against tall windows.
Reception

Jasmin and Peonies arranged a long rectangular table on the garden lawn, dressed in white linen with clean ivory place settings and low candlelight. Yummy Crea presented a five-tier white cake displayed outdoors among manicured hedges. A lounge setup on the chateau grounds used cushioned seating beneath the tree canopy, with the stone facade visible in the background.
Design and Details

Reflets Fleurs grouped florals by hue, building a gradient from warm ivory through muted earth tones that complemented the limestone walls. A champagne tower of cut crystal coupes anchored one display, while Laetitia Fauchere Ceramics contributed handmade tableware. Papiro Stationery bridged the palette with tactile paper and tonal lettering on a dark green velvet surface beside a walnut ring dish.
Flat Lays

Papiro Stationery designed the suite on thick cotton stock, tonal lettering in warm grey against a creamy base, arranged on a surface of dark green velvet beside a walnut ring dish. A single stem of dried grass, a spool of silk ribbon, and the bride's perfume bottle completed the composition. Bianca Harbison used natural window light to bring out the paper grain and the pressed edge of each card.
