Buttery Yellow Peonies and Alpine Light at a Private Lakeside Villa, Annecy
An Italian-inspired editorial at a private lakeside villa near Annecy with Daalarna bridal fashion and buttery yellow florals. 55 photos by Dall'K.
Buttery yellow peonies against still Alpine water set the scene for this editorial at a private villa in Veyrier-du-Lac, conceived by Prune Wedding and Botanique Bazar. Dall'K, an editorial wedding photographer based near Annecy captured every frame with a fashion-forward eye across this lakeside wedding venue destination in the French Alps.

White wrought-iron chairs lined the villa's wooden deck terrace, turquoise lake water stretching behind the altar toward Alpine peaks. Botanique Bazar built tall floral columns of buttery yellow peonies and garden roses to frame the space, their loose trailing greenery catching the mountain breeze. The Daalarna White Swan Collection gown, with its structured corset bodice and voluminous ivory satin skirt, swept across the stone as the bride moved toward the ceremony point.

For portraits, the bride changed into a butter-yellow silk column gown styled with a sleek wet-hair finish by Amelie Gouttenoire. She sat on a classic wooden motorboat with red leather seats on the lake, adjusting a pearl cluster earring mid-laugh. Dall'K captured these frames with a fashion-forward eye, finding that precise Alpine light where skin turns golden and fabric reads like liquid.

Canapes from Isa Batavia circulated on the lakeside terrace as afternoon light turned the water to hammered pewter. Ivory meringue kisses sat piled in silver pedestal coupes on the welcome table, alongside a single arrangement of ranunculus and garden roses in pale champagne. Letterpress stationery from Agence MDF in deep mocha ink on cotton-rag card completed the vignette.

Champagne satin pooled to the floor beneath woven rattan placemats and white ceramic plates. Centrepieces of soft yellow hellebores and ivory sweet peas reached upward, loose and botanical. Isa Batavia served Italian-style family platters so the table felt genuinely alive. Silver tapered candleholders from La Maison Options repeated across the runner in an architectural rhythm, and by dessert powdered-sugar ladyfingers arrived on scallop-edged silver trays.

Botanique Bazar and Immersion Botanique built the floral world in buttery yellow, warm mocha, ivory, and soft sage. Up close, peony petals fat and layered, ranunculus tightly wound, sweet peas almost translucent. Agence MDF's letterpress stationery added a tactile counterpoint with deep mocha ink impressed into thick cotton card. Wax-sealed envelopes and a stationery suite in cream sat alongside the florals on an antique surface.
