Renee and Mitch celebrated above the harbour at Chateau de Cassis, a hilltop wedding estate overlooking the Mediterranean, where stone terraces and sea views shaped every moment. Captured on film by Olya Kobruseva, an editorial destination wedding photographer on the Cote d’Azur, the day unfolded across the sunlit terraces of Provence’s celebrated coastline near Marseille and Cassis.

Anais Lacurie styled hair and makeup in natural light, working with a soft, luminous finish that suited the coastal setting. The bride’s fluid gown moved easily as final adjustments were made, its fabric catching the brightness of the morning. Quiet laughter and last-minute details filled the room before the short walk to the terrace.

Guests arrived via a petit train through Cassis’s pastel streets before gathering on the open-air terrace above the sea. Flowdles designed the floral arrangements with olive branches, blue tulips, hydrangeas, and soft roses, framing the ceremony against cliffs and horizon. Vows were exchanged with the Mediterranean stretching below, the spring breeze carrying each word across the stone terrace.

The bride’s gown caught the light as she moved along the chateau’s stone corridors, its fluid silhouette framed by arched doorways and pale walls. Olya Kobruseva captured each portrait with a film-like quality, balancing the softness of the fabric against the age and texture of the 11th-century architecture.

Olya Kobruseva guided the couple through the estate’s terraces and gardens, using the layered backdrop of sea, stone, and sky. Her editorial eye found moments of stillness between the two, catching reflections in the late-afternoon light. Each frame balanced intimacy with the sweeping scale of the Mediterranean landscape beyond.

Poolside candlelight shimmered across the water as guests gathered for aperitifs before moving to dinner beneath twinkling lights. Tables styled in Mediterranean blues, blush tones, and warm neutrals reflected the coastal palette, while the illuminated chateau rose behind the celebration. The band opened the dance floor on the terrace as Cassis sparkled below.

Flowdles wove Mediterranean tones through every arrangement, pairing olive branches with blue tulips and soft roses that echoed the sea and sky. Encres et Nuances crafted artisanal stationery with tactile detail, each piece adding a refined layer to the table settings. Joli Bazaar rentals completed the design with warm wood and coastal textures.

Perched above the harbour town of Cassis, this 11th-century hilltop estate commands panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the limestone calanques. Stone terraces step down toward the sea, while pastel-hued walls and vaulted rooms carry centuries of coastal character. The pool terrace, shaded courtyards, and open-sky ceremony space create a series of distinct settings within one address.
