Sand, Terracotta and Trailing Jasmine at Chateau la Tour Vaucros, Avignon
Jessie and Tim's 120-guest wedding at Chateau la Tour Vaucros near Avignon: cosmos-lined ceremony and jasmine-scented courtyard dinner. By Rohman Wedding Story.
Jessie and Tim gathered 120 guests at this private Provencal chateau wedding estate near Avignon for a celebration that balanced architectural depth with effortless flow. Planner WEP in Provence, a leading South of France wedding team orchestrated every transition, while Rohman Wedding Story documented the day across one of Provence's most refined chateau settings near Avignon.
Getting Ready

Inside the chateau's cool stone rooms, Kendal Hardman worked through the bridal party while light filtered through shutters in a warm amber wash. Jessie's look leaned into the Provencal mood: fresh skin, a soft eye, and hair that sat somewhere between undone and precise. The pale stone walls and antique furnishings made the most effortless backdrop for the morning's unhurried pace.
Ceremony

Jessie and Tim married in the garden as afternoon light turned golden and low. Lilaswood dressed the aisle with white cosmos, ivory antirrhinum, and dusty sage foliage, intentionally unstructured and swaying gently in the warm breeze. Trimmed hedgerows on either side created an intimate corridor of green. When Tim caught sight of Jessie walking toward him, the pause before he smiled was the kind of moment Rohman Wedding Story caught with perfect precision.
Couple Portraits

Rohman Wedding Story walked Jessie and Tim through the estate's quieter corners: a sun-bleached garden gate, a stone staircase half-covered in climbing roses, the lavender-edged path that leads away from the main courtyard. These images are built on ease rather than direction, two people genuinely at home in each other's company in a place that seemed designed to show that off.
Bridal Party

The bridesmaids wore varying shades of warm sand and soft terracotta that sat beautifully against the courtyard's bleached stone and clipped box hedges. No two dresses were identical, but the palette held them together with ease. Tim's groomsmen echoed the mood in oat-coloured linen suits, collar buttons undone by late morning. The whole party carried the relaxed assurance of people who had dressed for themselves as much as for the occasion.
Reception

Long tables dressed in undyed linen held tapering beeswax candles in amber and ivory, with low centrepieces of blush garden roses, cream peonies, and trailing jasmine that scented the entire space. Helen Traiteur served a Provencal daube, market vegetables roasted with herbs, and cheeses from the Vaucluse. Guests had spilled across the warm terrace during cocktails with chilled rose from a nearby Rhone domaine, and lingered long past midnight.
