Satin, Soft Pastels, and a Circular Aisle at Le Moulin de Launoy
Madison and Collin's autumn wedding at Le Moulin de Launoy near Paris. Circular garden ceremony, Senstudio gown, Parmigiano pasta. By Alexandra Dogar.
Featured FWS Members
Madison and Collin chose Le Moulin de Launoy, an 18th-century mill in the countryside south of Paris, for a celebration built on personal intention, from a circular garden ceremony officiated by Collin's father to tableside pasta from a Parmigiano wheel. Planner Sabrina Perez shaped every detail around soft pastels and satin, while Alexandra Dogar preserved the day's candid warmth. Getting Ready

Hair artist Ekaterina Mignery crafted a softly romantic look for Madison, a natural skin-first finish that let her features lead. The Senstudio satin basque-waist ballgown pooled in heavy ivory duchess satin, the structured bodice giving way to a full skirt. On her feet: vintage Chanel cream leather pumps with bright interlocked-C hardware. Collin kept things clean in his own room, adjusting his bow tie before stepping into the autumn afternoon.
Ceremony

The garden ceremony at Le Moulin de Launoy was arranged in a full circular aisle, guests seated on all sides so that Madison and Collin were truly surrounded. Flowers in blush, ivory, and soft mauve from Reflets Fleurs lined the inner circle. Collin's father officiated, and when his voice broke slightly during the vows, every person present felt it. Violinist Romy Deville played as guests took their seats.
Bridal Portraits

Madison alone in the grounds is a study in contrast: centuries-old stone architecture against the movement of that ballgown skirt. Alexandra Dogar caught the moments between posing, a glance down, a slow exhale, the dress catching a shaft of pale light. The floral crown of blush garden roses and ivory sweet peas from Reflets Fleurs framed her face without overwhelming it.
Couple Portraits

In the last of the autumn afternoon light, Madison and Collin slipped into the grounds with Alexandra Dogar. The mill's stone walls and bare-limbed trees gave the portraits a graphic quality, strong shapes against soft light. His hand rested at the small of her back, her veil catching a breath of wind against the ivy-covered facade. These are photographs of two people who are happy, not two people performing happiness.
Cocktail Hour

Oceano Jazz provided a saxophonist whose sound transformed the courtyard into something almost cinematic, that low swinging warmth that makes people lean toward each other. Da Fabio Traiteur ran a confident drinks service while guests circulated through the mill's stone-walled exterior spaces. The autumn chill kept everyone close together and slightly flushed, the best possible look for candid photographs.
Reception

Sabrina Perez set the long dinner table with ivory linen, wooden cross-back chairs, and low centrepieces of blush peony, garden rose, and eucalyptus. Da Fabio Traiteur's signature moment drew genuine applause: a whole Parmigiano-Reggiano wheel used as a pasta bowl, hot rigatoni tossed tableside. DJ PatriceVonParis took over after dinner. Madison and Collin decorated their own cake together at the table before Pastry and Co's creation was cut.
Design and Details

Sabrina Perez and Reflets Fleurs worked in the same warm-cool palette throughout: ivory, blush, dusty rose, and the faintest trace of sage green from eucalyptus and fern foliage. Pastry and Co created a three-tier buttercream in warm white with pressed dried flowers. Menu cards and place settings were produced in ecru-and-copper typographic style. The vintage Chanel pumps, pearl-drop earrings, and loose stems of blush ranunculus completed the flat lay.
