Ruth and Misael gathered family and friends from across the world for a weekend at Chateau de Jalesnes, a Renaissance castle with private chapel in the Loire Valley. The property became a shared home, breakfasts in light-filled rooms, afternoons in the courtyard, long dinners beneath coffered ceilings, and fireworks cracking open the November sky. Getting Ready

The morning unfolded in one of the chateau's high-ceilinged rooms, pale November light coming through tall windows as Onorina Jomir Beauty worked. The atmosphere was unhurried, belonging to a multiday celebration where there was no rush, only a walk down a stone staircase. The gown hung against the panelled wall, a structured silhouette with clean architectural lines and a quietly confident 1980s influence.
Ceremony

The chateau's private chapel held the ceremony, stone walls absorbing the sound of vows exchanged in near-silence. November light came through narrow windows in thin white bars. Rose Andrew Events dressed the space simply with amber and coral blooms at the ends of the pews, nothing that competed with the chapel's own gravity. Ruth walked in to the soft creak of a centuries-old door, and the room was entirely still before the music began.
Bridal Portraits

Sarah Lord caught Ruth alone in the chateau's courtyard in the low November light, Renaissance stonework framing the structured gown without competing with it. The dress's clean seaming and sculpted bodice read almost like architecture. A single spray of salmon ranunculus from her Peonies Studio bouquet gave the only soft note against pale stone and grey sky.
Couple Portraits

Sarah Lord worked in the golden hour light that arrives early in November, long and low and flattering on old stone. Against the formal gardens with box hedges still green, Misael's tailored dark navy suit mirrored the formality of the setting as precisely as Ruth's gown. The images have the quality of somewhere lived-in and loved, at home inside the building rather than posed in front of it.
Bridal Party

Bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns in warm champagne-ivory, the colour picking up the gold threading through the day's design. Bouquets from Peonies Studio mixed garden roses in apricot and amber with touches of marigold yellow, a palette warm and intentional. The laughter between them, caught mid-sentence by Sarah Lord's lens, reminded that a wedding party is really just a group of people who love one person very much.
Reception

The long candlelit dinner was exactly what a multiday celebration builds toward, no rush, no programme anxiety. Bon Betend's menu arrived in courses as candles burned lower, and the gold flatware caught light each time a glass was raised. Late in the evening, fireworks illuminated the chateau's entire facade, a finale that felt both planned and completely surprising. Stories were still being told as the last sparks fell.
Design and Details

Peonies Studio's arrangements stood tall in stone alcoves and along the dining table: salmon garden roses, ranunculus in egg-yolk yellow, and spray chrysanthemums in deep amber, their warmth enormous against the grey chateau walls. Gold candleholders from Maison Options clustered between the florals, and as evening deepened, candlelight bounced off crystal glassware in long, flickering lines.
Flat Lays

Sugared Fig Paperie's stationery suite set the tone: cream card stock, gold ink, and letterpress detailing that caught the light at an angle. Laid beside the bouquet and Misael's boutonniere, the suite reads as a complete design language. Small touches completed the story, a wax seal, a ribbon in burnt sienna, a menu card folded just so, details that together signalled exactly what kind of weekend this would be.
