A private island reached only by boat from Marseille's coastline, L'Ile Degaby, an exclusive private island wedding venue off the Provence coast, gave Axelle and Khalil total seclusion for their spring celebration. Stone buildings bleached by decades of sea wind and terraces dropping toward deep water framed a mineral palette of chalk white, basalt grey, and burgundy. Ceremony

Axelle walked the stone terrace in her Rime Arodaky gown, white sculpted crepe with an asymmetric hemline and weighted train. Khalil stood in a couture cape that gave genuine theatre to the moment. Seating was graphic and minimal, chosen to disappear into the sea view. The petal shower as they walked back through their guests filled every frame with movement.
Bridal Portraits

Axelle changed into a pearl-embellished Sonia B. gown for afternoon portraits with Marjorie Manfre. The pearls caught golden hour light in cold flashes against warm skin. Delphine Ruffini's hair and Sam Beauties' makeup held their form in the sea breeze, while the island's stone walls gave natural framing at every angle.
Couple Portraits

As the light turned amber-orange on the island's remote terraces, Marjorie Manfre worked the couple through their second looks. Khalil's black Espace Ceremonie suit against Axelle's pearl gown created a quietly arresting contrast. Their confidence with the camera matched the day's visual language: bold, precise, intentional against the deepening Mediterranean sky.
Reception

Night turned the chandeliered space warm and amber against the cool dark of the sea. The cake by Gladys stood as a study in restraint: tiered ivory with a single vertical streak of deep burgundy. Content creator Pathy captured the energy between tables, while Thant Chay Steinbacher caught a hand on a shoulder, a glass raised, the bride's train folded over a chair.
Design and Details

Joli Bazaar chandeliers hung low over the reception, their warm filament light pooling onto Options tableware in matte black and ivory ceramic. Amel Montel kept florals tonal throughout, moving through dusty rose, dried pampas, and chocolate cosmos against the mineral palette of chalk white, basalt grey, and warm sand that extended the island's raw stone character indoors.
Flat Lays

Atelier Novem's stationery suite anchored the composition: letterpress on off-white card stock with blocky type and an embossed illustration of the island. Accessories from Sohelo and Le Baiser de la Mariee sat alongside on rough linen and cool stone. A single burgundy amaranth stem cut across the frame beside the compact handbag bouquet.
