Blush Florals and Estate Rose at Chateau Les Crostes, Provence
Josefin and Jonas hosted a three-day wedding at Chateau Les Crostes in Provence with blush florals and vineyard portraits. 80 photos by Ingrid Tjernstrom.
Three days of laughter, estate rose, and vineyard portraits: Josefin and Jonas chose Chateau Les Crostes, a 17th-century wine estate in Provence for a celebration that moved from courtyard vows to candlelit dinner to poolside farewell. Ingrid Tjernstrom captured every chapter across one of Provence's most welcoming wedding destinations.
Getting Ready

Josefin shared champagne with her bridesmaids in one of the chateau's upper rooms, a morning that sounded like everyone speaking at once. Makeup artist Raminaa Benjamin built a look balancing soft dewy skin with a deep berry lip, personal enough to feel entirely like Josefin. Meanwhile Jonas and his groomsmen readied themselves just down the hall, close enough that the laughter carried through the walls.
Ceremony

Under open Provencal sky, Josefin and Jonas exchanged vows in the chateau's courtyard as 'Je te laisserai des mots' drifted across the stone. The ceremony ended with the couple asking guests to vote on their shared surname by round of applause, the sound rolling up and out over the rooftops. Liljebeck Photos caught the grins on the groomsmen mid-cheer.
Bridal Portraits

In the garden, Josefin stood against the chateau's pale stone in her Mila Grodenahrin gown, a structured ivory crepe with a low-draped back and long sleeves. Ingrid Tjernstrom found her in the olive grove, light filtering sideways through the canopy and casting thin shadow-lines across the fabric. The bouquet sat heavy and fragrant against the pale crepe.
Couple Portraits

In the last light of the afternoon, Ingrid Tjernstrom walked Josefin and Jonas into the vineyard rows beyond the chateau walls. The vines were bare, pruned back to dark knotted sticks, and the sky had turned the colour of faded denim behind them. Jonas had Josefin's hand and she had her shoes off, and nothing about the moment needed arranging.
Bridal Party

The bridesmaids wore Twist and Tango in dusty rose and warm terracotta, midi-length and fluid enough to move well against the chateau's muted stone. Groomsmen kept to sharp charcoal with ivory pocket squares. Planner Bon Viola had timed the group portraits to catch the last low afternoon sun, and the entire party glowed in flat, honest light.
Reception

Dinner stretched long into the evening as candles burned down in brass holders and the estate rose gave way to red. Les Delices de Gladys' cake arrived on its own table, buttercream in clotted-cream tones with pressed sugar florals in pale pink and white, trailing flowers down three tiers. Speeches ran over time because everyone had too much to say.
Design and Details

Tables dressed in raw oatmeal linen carried low arrangements of garden roses in blush pink, white ranunculus, and dried pampas grass giving texture without height. Place settings mixed warm terracotta charger plates with clear glassware and brass candlesticks, a palette of blush, ivory, ochre, and antique gold rooted in the Provencal landscape outside.
Flat Lays

The flat lay told the story before the day began: an invitation suite in warm ivory and dusty blush, a sprig of dried olive leaf across the envelope, and the delicate lace trim of Josefin's gown folded just so. Rings caught the window light with that particular clean glint that needs nothing else beside it.
Venue

Chateau Les Crostes sits in the hills above the Var valley, its pale limestone facades catching that particular South of France light, low and golden and warm. The sweeping courtyard, vine-covered terraces, and the estate's own working vineyard gave the three-day celebration room to breathe. Arriving on a Friday evening, guests moved through bare olive branches and terracotta urns.
