A Three-Day Hilltop Celebration at Castelnau des Fieumarcon, Gascony
Jasmit and Steve's three-day wedding at Castelnau des Fieumarcon in Gascony blended Western and Indian traditions across a medieval hilltop village.
Jasmit and Steve took over the hilltop village of Castelnau des Fieumarcon for a three-day celebration that felt part festival, part family reunion. Planned in four months by La Boutique Events and captured by Frances of Littlewing Photos, the weekend unfolded across stone terraces, cobbled lanes, and sweeping Gascon valley views.
Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony took place beneath a floating white canopy with the valley stretching behind the couple in every direction. Guests gathered on stone terraces as Jasmit and Steve exchanged vows in the warm southern air. The setting carried a quiet majesty, the ancient stonework amplifying every word spoken under the Gascony sky.
Cocktail Hour

Cocktails flowed on a terrace overlooking the valley as Friday evening's welcome drinks gave way to Saturday's relaxed aperitif. Trays of samosas and Cornish pasties circulated as Western and Indian music blended seamlessly. The DJ kept the energy alive long after midnight, turning the hilltop into a vibrant celebration.
Reception

Dinner was served al fresco beside the banqueting hall as speeches aligned with sunset and laughter rolled through the narrow streets. A local DJ mixed Western and Indian music, filling the hilltop with energy that lasted well past midnight. On Sunday, a relaxed BBQ lunch under the sun and live music in the courtyards brought the three-day celebration to a warm close.
Flat Lays

Details captured the weekend's layered personality: table settings dressed for al fresco dining, signage placed along cobbled lanes, and the warm glow of lights strung between centuries-old walls. Each vignette reflected the couple's mix of cultures and their love of gathering people in one shared place.
Venue

Castelnau des Fieumarcon rose from the hilltop like a self-contained village of stone houses, cobbled lanes, and walled gardens. Fourteen historic buildings housed all 120 guests for the weekend, lending the celebration the feel of a private community. Terraces overlooked the Gascon valley, their sweeping views framing golden hour and sunset alike.
