Blue and White Summer Wedding at Chateau de Champlatreux
Erin and Ben's summer wedding at Chateau de Champlatreux near Paris: porcelain blue florals, Seine cruise welcome party, and Dior bridal details.

Erin and Ben travelled from New York to celebrate their summer wedding at Chateau de Champlatreux, a grand 18th-century estate in the heart of Ile-de-France, just north of Paris. With a porcelain blue and white palette, a welcome cruise on the Seine, and a ceremony before the chateau's majestic fountain, every detail radiated Parisian elegance.

Before the chateau's stone fountain, Erin and Ben exchanged vows on a warm June afternoon. Guests sat on either side of a petal-strewn aisle lined with Medicis vases of blue delphiniums and white roses by Fleurs de Muse. The 18th-century facade rose behind the couple, and Aude Lucas captured the moment from both the aisle and the balcony above.

Erin's strapless gown, clean-lined with a structured bodice, was made for the kind of light that pours through the chateau's tall salon windows. Larissa Beauty styled a polished, natural look that balanced the graphic edge of the Dior heels. Aude Lucas shot the portraits in the mirrored hallway and on the front steps, where the pale stone of the facade made the white of the dress glow.

Aude Lucas and second shooter Franz Ladouce guided Erin and Ben through the chateau's grounds as the afternoon light stretched long across the gravel paths. They paused beneath the stone archway of the main entrance, in the parterre garden with its clipped box hedging, and along the tree-lined avenue that leads away from the estate. The blue of Erin's Dior heels appeared in several candid shots, a quiet graphic detail against pale stone. Formal portraits in the grand salon used the gilt mirrors and painted ceiling panels as backdrop. The couple laughed through most of the series, and the best frames are the ones where they forgot the camera entirely.

Guests gathered on the chateau's south terrace for cocktails as the June sun softened. Grand Chemin set up a bar with champagne coupes and canapes on a linen-draped table flanked by low blue-and-white arrangements. The fountain courtyard provided the backdrop, and laughter carried easily across the stone. My Social Wedding Paris captured the candid moments: friends reuniting, glasses raised, the first real exhale of the day.

Inside the chateau's grand salon, long tables glowed under candlelight and low arrangements of porcelain-blue hydrangeas and white roses by Fleurs de Muse. Maison Options supplied the tableware: fine bone china with a blue border that echoed the palette running through every detail. 126 Events furnished the room with velvet-upholstered chairs in deep navy. Grand Chemin served a French menu that matched the formality of the room, and as the evening deepened, Timac Event brought the energy up until the parquet floor was full and the dancing ran late.

Erin's black-and-white Dior heels sat beside her rings, a monogrammed handkerchief, and a bottle of perfume on a marble-topped console. The invitation suite, illustrated with Haussmann facades in porcelain blue ink, was fanned across ivory linen. Aude Lucas arranged each piece against the chateau's original parquet, letting the warm wood tones anchor the cool blue palette.
