Getting Ready

Annelie Barbier moved between the bridal party in the chateau's shuttered rooms, where warm amber light fell across the dressing table. Claudia slipped into her gown as gathered stems from The Flower Shop by Jennifer Shephard drifted through the room, the scent of fresh florals arriving before the bouquets were fully assembled.
Ceremony

Beneath a cloudless Occitanie sky the vows were personal and unhurried. Jennifer Shephard's ceremony arch carried trailing greenery and blooms that moved in the faintest warm breeze. The sound of cicadas in the distance was unplanned but entirely perfect, and when the couple turned to walk back as newlyweds the applause rose unprompted.
Bridal Portraits

Martina Skrobot caught the soft texture of the bridal gown against rough-cut limestone walls, a single loose curl falling forward, and a half-smile that belongs to someone about to step into something wonderful. Cornflower blue sky above, gravel warm underfoot, and every frame belonging entirely to Claudia.
Couple Portraits

Martina Skrobot's documentary instinct shines in the last of the summer light, when everything turns the colour of warm honey. Truls and Claudia walked the garden path, the chateau behind them soft in the background haze, her hand in his. Second photographer Karolina Moczulska added her own eye to the unguarded moments between poses.
Cocktail Hour

The courtyard came alive as the vinyl bar, hand-picked by DJ Les Disques de Valentins, became the social heart of the hour. Guests flipped through records spanning the 1960s to the 1990s while saxophonist Jorgen Karlsen moved through the crowd playing jazz standards, his instrument gleaming in the slanted late-afternoon light.
Reception

As candles took over from the sun, Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E filled the courtyard during the cake cutting, a personal choice by Claudia that stopped conversations mid-sentence. Tom Court Patisserie's cake balanced rustic and refined in equal measure, and the champagne tower drew exactly the reaction it deserved. Stylo Weddings ensured the evening flowed without visible effort.
Venue

The Florentine-style facade, clipped courtyard hedges, and stone-flagged terraces of Chateau Sainte Cecile sat bathed in afternoon gold. Surrounded by the garrigue landscape of the Herault, the chateau needed very little dressing. The bones were already warm and generous, waiting for wildflowers and good music to bring them alive.
