Estelle and Younes chose Chateau de Villette, a 17th-century private estate with formal gardens near Paris, for an autumn editorial built on a single-hue white palette. Photographed by Demi's Design, a published editorial wedding photographer in Ile-de-France and Andrew Bayda, every element was designed by Amelevent Paris to let the classical stone and parterre carry the visual weight. Getting Ready

Bridal preparations unfolded in one of the chateau's ornate first-floor rooms, tall French windows flooding the space with cool morning light. The bride wore a sculptural ivory crepe column gown from Tatyana Kochnova's ceremony collection, its deep cowl back catching each shift of light as stylist Vlada Semenova arranged the final details. Yulia Colta and Myrna handled hair and makeup, keeping the look clean and modern against gilded boiserie panelling.

Ceremony

Bride reading vows to groom before white rose and fern ceremony backdrop on chateau terrace
An outdoor wedding ceremony taking place on a cobblestone terrace in front of a large formal reflecting pool, with a grand stone staircase, classical statuary, and ornamental fountain structure serving as the backdrop. The bride wears a white strapless ballgown with a full skirt and cathedral-length train, while the groom is dressed in a black tuxedo with bow tie and glasses, holding paper vows as the couple faces each other. The ceremony is framed by large white urn arrangements overflowing with white peonies, hydrangeas, and lush greenery, with a ground-level floral carpet of white blooms — including baby's breath and hydrangeas — lining the aisle on both sides. Guests, dressed predominantly in black formal attire, are seated in rows of ornate white carved chairs on either side of the aisle; approximately 20–30 guests are visible. The overall design palette is strictly white and green, with a classic, architectural styling theme. This is a wide-shot taken from behind and slightly elevated above the guest seating, capturing the full ceremony setup, the couple at the altar, and the monumental formal garden architecture behind them. Amelevent Paris positioned a garden-style floor arch directly before the chateau's stone reflecting pool, constructed entirely from white ranunculus, garden roses, trailing smilax, and stems of sweet pea. The cobblestone aisle stretched between rows of low greenery, and late-summer sun threw long shadows across the parterre as the couple exchanged vows beneath the classical facade.

Bridal Portraits

Solo portraits in the parterre showed what the Tatyana Kochnova dress was made for. That cowl back caught every angle of afternoon light as the bride moved through the boxwood geometry, the chalk-white crepe reading as both luminous and architectural against the warm grey stone of the chateau walls.

Andrew Bayda and Demi's Design worked the formal gardens together, shooting wide and close simultaneously. Bare-branched linden trees lining the allee created a graphic counterpoint to the white dress, their silver-grey forms echoing the stone. One frame caught the groom dipping the bride on the gravel forecourt, the entire classical facade stretching behind them.

Reception

A five-tier ivory fondant cake from AND Cakes, decorated with pressed sugar botanicals, anchored the outdoor tablescape. Place settings were dressed in ivory linen with clusters of white anemone and trailing ribbon. When Blackstone Agency's fireworks cracked open the sky above the roofline, gold sparks reflected off the long dining windows.

The floral language stayed strictly monochrome: white ranunculus, sweet pea, and garden rose with generous eucalyptus and smilax vine, all designed by Amelevent Paris. No accent colour, no blush, no variation. Dense garden-style centrepieces of hydrangea, stock, and garden roses covered each table, while pearl necklaces and bridal accessories completed the refined tablescapes.

Flat Lays

Nude and gold bridal heeled sandals with ankle strap resting on ornate wrought iron scrollwork railing
Monochrome flat lay with white cards tied in black ribbon, chrysanthemums, fern, and crystal drop earrings

WedVibes Media directed the flat-lay arrangements on stone tile: Liv Laermann's invitation suite in deep midnight letterpress on cotton stock, stems of sweet pea, pearl strands, and bridal sandals resting on ornate iron railings. The cotton-textured paper carried the slight grain of cold morning light.

This 17th-century private estate just forty minutes from Paris offered formal gardens by Andre Le Notre, two ornamental lakes, and a classical stone facade that reads like a pencil drawing in autumn light. For an editorial built on restraint, the stripped-back parterre and gravel forecourt were the ideal canvas.
