Getting Ready

Flore slipped into a sleek ivory crepe sheath, bias-cut with a low cowl back, as warm light pooled across the dressing table. You By Melinda kept the makeup sharp and skin-true, a nude-rose lip and defined brow that read flawlessly against the coastal daylight filtering through the shuttered windows.

Ceremony

Vows were exchanged facing the water, chairs arranged so no guest had their back to the sea. Any Flowers Officiel kept the altar florals deliberately low, clusters of white lisianthus and ivory cosmos at foot level, so the Mediterranean horizon stayed fully visible. Agence LB had timed the ceremony to the golden hour window, and the light paid them back.

Bridal Portraits

Marjorie Manfre moved Flore onto the upper terrace where the horizon line sat exactly at shoulder height. The crepe of the dress caught the Provence light differently from each angle, matte in shadow, nearly luminous where the sun hit the bias. The limestone balustrade, warm ochre against blue water, did the rest.

Couple Portraits

Marjorie Manfre took Flore and Maxime to the far edge of the upper terrace after dinner, where city lights and the dark line of the sea met in the distance. The images from that ten-minute window are backlit and relaxed, Flore laughing at something Maxime said just before the shutter, the kind that will matter in twenty years.

Bridal Party

A bridal party portrait taken outdoors on the steps of a white villa with wrought-iron balconies and large windows, shot in bright natural daylight. The bride stands at the center wearing an off-the-shoulder white fitted gown with a cathedral-length veil and a diamond necklace, surrounded by six bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wear a mix-and-match color palette of red and fuchsia/magenta floor-length gowns in varying silhouettes — including a ruffled red spaghetti-strap dress, a purple-to-pink ombré draped gown with a slit, a red turtleneck halter dress, a red wrap-style dress, a red one-shoulder gown, and a bright fuchsia off-the-shoulder tiered dress. The styling theme is bold and modern with a saturated red and pink color scheme. The shot is a medium-wide portrait with the group arranged across two steps of the terrace staircase.

Bridesmaids wore fluid midi dresses in dusty sage, a Nile green with grey undertone that photographed like a watercolour against the stone and the sea-blue distance. Groomsmen held the same restrained brief: oyster-white linen shirts, no tie, tailored stone-coloured trousers. The full group on the lower terrace steps read as one piece.

XY Live Music set up on the shaded garden terrace as Fleur de Sel Traiteur passed chilled rose and amuse-bouches on slate. Guests leaned against the stone parapet watching the light shift on the water while La Selfiejoke Photobooth drew the more energetic crowd toward the garden corner.

Fleur de Sel Traiteur's menu ran to sea bream with fennel and slow-roasted rack of lamb with herbes de Provence. DJ Aleko brought the tempo up from XY Live Music's last song and the garden below was lit with warm amber spots, sound carrying out over the water. The evening stretched past midnight with the company entirely willing.

Design and Details

A floral detail shot featuring a compact arrangement of cream and blush garden roses in a white ceramic vessel, placed on a pale stone ledge or balustrade. Two loose rose heads and a short length of white satin ribbon are scattered on the surface beside the vase. The background shows white classical stone balusters, suggesting an outdoor terrace or formal garden setting. Natural sunlight casts sharp shadows across the pale stone surface, contributing to a bright, all-white and cream color palette with a classic, refined styling approach.
A close-up detail shot of a wedding reception table setting with an all-white floral centerpiece featuring ivory garden roses, white peonies, white hydrangeas, sweet peas, and small spray carnations with green foliage accents. The table is dressed in a white linen tablecloth with white porcelain plates, a folded white linen napkin, silver cutlery, and clear crystal glassware. In the background, tall white taper candles in slim glass holders and additional table settings are softly blurred, indicating a larger reception setup. The overall decor palette is a strict white-on-white scheme with touches of green, consistent with a modern classic or minimalist styling approach.
Close-up detail shot of an outdoor wedding reception table set on what appears to be a terrace or balustrade-lined terrace, photographed in warm golden evening light. The table is dressed in a white linen tablecloth with all-white place settings including stacked white porcelain plates, white folded napkins, silver cutlery, and clear glassware. The centerpiece runs the length of the table and features low, lush arrangements of white hydrangeas, white garden roses, white ranunculus, and white peonies, interspersed with tall white taper candles in clear glass hurricane holders. Gold-rimmed charger plates are visible on chairs in the background, and the overall styling palette is entirely white and ivory with clear glass accents, creating a monochromatic, minimalist-modern aesthetic. The long table recedes into soft background blur, emphasizing the repeating place settings and floral runners.

Tables on the main terrace were set on pale ecru linen with hand-lettered place cards in fine charcoal script. Candle heights were calibrated so conversation flowed unobstructed, tapered beeswax in clear glass at eye level. A single stem of white sweet pea marked each setting, and the glassware caught candle flame after sunset.

The centerpiece is a pair of ivory Jimmy Choo pointed-toe heels with crystal-encrusted ankle straps and toe straps. In the lower left corner, a small hexagonal ivory velvet ring box holds two rings — an emerald-cut diamond engagement ring and a diamond wedding band. The pearl detailing on the veil is scattered throughout the composition, reinforcing a classic bridal aesthetic. The overall color palette is ivory and white with silver crystal accents.

A pair of ivory satin Jimmy Choo pointed-toe heels with crystal embellished ankle straps are placed at the center, alongside a bouquet of blush and white garden roses, peonies, and white freesia with green stems wrapped in white ribbon. A small white hexagonal ring box containing what appears to be a diamond engagement ring and wedding band is tucked near the base of the shoes. The overall color palette is ivory, blush, and crystal white with a classic, polished styling approach. Close-up detail shot with natural indoor lighting.

Any Flowers Officiel arranged a hand-tied bouquet of white blooms and a single stem of blue delphinium, that one cool note against all the cream. The rings sat beside the bouquet on linen paper, alongside champagne satin strappy heels and a perfume bottle with a distinctly vintage silhouette.

Low-angle view of white multi-storey villa with balustrade stairs, cypress trees, and wrought-iron balconies
An exterior wide shot of a large white villa-style venue featuring multi-level terraced grounds connected by broad sandstone steps leading up from a paved pathway. The architecture is classical Mediterranean in style, with white rendered facades, terracotta-tiled rooflines, wrought iron balconies, and a curved white balustrade terrace at the upper level flanked by tall cypress trees. The terracing incorporates dry-stone retaining walls in warm sandy tones, with manicured round-clipped shrubs and low flowering plants placed throughout the landscaped levels. No people are visible in this image. Potential venue feature image.

From the wrought-iron entrance gates to the sea-view ceremony platform, Castel Bay layers Belle Epoque architecture with wild Mediterranean garden, stone pines, rosemary borders, and bougainvillea in deep magenta spilling over whitewashed walls. Every exterior wall appeared as a backdrop throughout the day.
