Blush Galia Lahav and a Floral Chuppah at Chateau Gassies, Bordeaux
Meng and Matthew married at Chateau Gassies near Bordeaux with a blush Galia Lahav gown, floral chuppah, and pool terrace reception. By Wedding Novelle.

Meng and Matthew chose a grand Bordeaux chateau with formal gardens and private terraces for an autumn celebration that wove Jewish tradition through French wine country. A blush Galia Lahav gown set the tone, Capucine Atelier Floral built a chuppah heavy with ranunculus and amaranthus, and the September sunset over the rolling vineyards and historic estates of Nouvelle-Aquitaine turned the pool terrace amber for the evening ahead.
Getting Ready

Meng dressed in the chateau's private suites, her blush Galia Lahav gown shifting between pale rose-quartz and warm ivory as the afternoon light moved across the room. Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo heels waited on the stone floor. Larissa Werneck styled hair and makeup with a precision that held beautifully from every angle through the long September afternoon.
Ceremony

The chuppah stood in the gardens, built by Capucine Atelier Floral with blush and ivory blooms and trailing amaranthus that nearly brushed the grass. A string quartet played through the processional while guests stood without being asked. Jewish tradition structured the vows, and the September sun held steady through every reading. Matthew's expression when he first saw Meng was the unscripted moment that made the whole gathering exhale.
Bridal Portraits

Against arched doorways and gravel paths, Wedding Novelle captured Meng with quiet confidence and an editorial eye. The blush of her Galia Lahav gown deepened as the afternoon progressed, picking up amber from the stone walls. These frames carry the particular quality of early autumn light near Bordeaux, long and golden, arriving at an angle that high summer never manages.
Couple Portraits

With the sun dropping below the treeline and the sky shifting from rose-gold to deep amber, Wedding Novelle took Meng and Matthew along the garden paths and stone balustrades. The two found the particular ease of a couple who had just married. Meng's gown deepened in the last light while the Bordeaux countryside stretched behind them into dusk.
Reception

Capdevielle Traiteur served dinner on the private pool terrace as the sky shifted from rose-gold to deep navy. French Barmen handled cocktails with confidence, and FixTheMusic built energy through an international playlist that read the room from the first song. The cake from Supa Dupa Mama, ivory and textured with fresh florals, anchored one end of the terrace. Meng changed into a Versace dress for the party, and Wild Stories ran the photo booth until late.
Design and Details

Capucine Atelier Floral mixed blush garden roses, ivory peonies, and clusters of pale grapes and pears on the private pool terrace, a nod to the wine country surrounding the chateau. Warm ivory linens covered long tables while candlelight from taper candles in dusty-gold holders turned everything amber once the sun dropped. White & Berry's stationery suite sat alongside botanical accents, the lettering pressed in warm stone ink on thick card stock.
