Kelly and Ryan exchanged vows beneath a circular floral arch on the stone terrace of Domaine d'Essendieras, a honey-toned chateau estate in the Perigord Vert. A citrus-accented Mediterranean palette by Jenny Fairbanks, a sailcloth tent reception, and private vow exchange gave the celebration a warmth that matched the estate's golden stone. Kelly Hiscox captured the day across terraces and rolling countryside, framing the celebration against one of the most distinctive destination wedding chateaux in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Getting Ready

Kelly's bridal suite filled with soft diffused light through tall windows as Eleonora Bridal worked her hair into a sleek, swept style and Magali Laville layered a luminous base. Her KYHA Studios gown in ivory crepe hung nearby, its clean lines and zero embellishment waiting. Across the estate, Ryan and his groomsmen gathered in the rustic kitchen with white shirts, black suspenders, and shots at the bar.
Ceremony

Before the main ceremony, Kelly and Ryan exchanged private vows on the stone portico, just the two of them framed by a sandstone arch. On the terrace, a close friend officiated beneath a circular arch of white hydrangeas, cream roses, and trailing greenery built by Our Fabulous Things. Guests sat in white Napoleon-style chairs as Kelly walked the gravel path on her father's arm.
Bridal Portraits

The arched colonnade terrace became Kelly's backdrop, flagstone floors and warm stone catching the afternoon sun. Her KYHA Studios gown moved in slow, heavy waves, precise at the shoulders and fluid through the skirt. A sheer cathedral-length veil caught the breeze as Kelly Hiscox positioned her near a south-facing window where the light came in sharp.
Couple Portraits

Kelly Hiscox led the couple to the grand stone staircase and the sloping grounds overlooking rolling countryside. Ryan lifted Kelly on the lawn, they kissed on the curved exterior staircase, and the final golden-hour frame on the hillside, her veil catching the wind, carried the ease of two people deep inside a day that landed exactly as hoped.
Bridal Party

Kelly's bridesmaids wore fluid dresses in mismatched pale blue, each woman choosing her own accessories and hair. The resulting group portraits in front of the warm stone carried a natural ease. Ryan's groomsmen anchored the look in classic black tuxedos, and the full party photograph on the chateau lawn was a well-dressed group of friends who had traveled far.
Reception

Dinner was served under an open-sided cream sailcloth tent strung with fairy lights and anchored by a gold chandelier. Long rustic farm tables dressed in white linen stretched the length of the tent, and guests raised crystal champagne flutes beneath the canvas. The espresso martini tower became a centrepiece of its own. Later, cold spark fountains framed a kiss against the dark sky, and James Carr kept the dance floor packed.
Design and Details

Jenny Fairbanks styled a citrus-accented Mediterranean palette: woven seagrass placemats beneath blue-and-white transferware, each setting finished with a fresh lemon and sprig of greenery. Our Fabulous Things built centrepieces of white garden roses alternating with citrus displays on rustic wooden farm tables. Cora Lee presented a multi-tier wedding cake on a blue-and-white ceramic stand, and the escort card display used arched alcoves holding small honey jars as favours.
