Pearly Whites and Coastal Light at Chateau de Bouceel, Normandy
A pearl-and-oyster styled editorial at Chateau de Bouceel near Mont-Saint-Michel, Normandy, with coastal textures by Ker Ostara. 47 photos by Lea Evrevin.
Chateau de Bouceel near Mont-Saint-Michel set the stage for this Pearly Love on the Bay editorial, where reflective ponds and classical salons met soft coastal light. Lena Plume Events coordinated each transition while Lea Evrevin documented the vision across this historic chateau wedding setting in the Normandy countryside.
Bridal Portraits

Inside the chateau's ornate bedroom the bride fastened silver peep-toe heels on the edge of a quilted bed before moving to the salon's grand piano. Lea Evrevin framed her against panelled walls and parquet floors, the structured V-neckline gown sharp in both colour and a striking black-and-white series. Seated on the stone steps outside, the full skirt pooled across warm sandstone.
Couple Portraits

Portraits unfolded from a formal salon where the groom sat at a black grand piano to the stone steps of the facade. Lea Evrevin placed the couple inside a vintage MGB roadster on the gravel drive, the chateau's classical proportions filling the background. A black-and-white sequence on the interior staircase balanced proportion and intimacy with soft northern light.
Reception

The evening table stretched through the open courtyard where silver reflected candlelight and a soft breeze moved between stone columns. Macarine supplied a tiered cake finished in ivory fondant that anchored the dessert display. Glass surfaces and shell accents added cool contrast to the warm stone as the couple shared champagne from crystal coupes.
Design and Details

Ker Ostara layered the design around whites, greens, and soft neutrals that echoed the bay's clarity. Lilas Boheme arranged low florals in pale green and white to keep sightlines clean, while fresh oysters on ice and scallop-edged ceramics introduced coastal texture. A white linen napkin marked with a red lipstick kiss added a playful accent beside ivory place settings styled by Koklyqo stationery.
Venue

Chateau de Bouceel's reflective ponds mirrored the classical facade beneath wide Norman skies. Clipped lawns and gravel paths connected intimate garden corners to the open courtyard where faint notes of citrus carried on the breeze. Indoors, ornate cornices and parquet floors caught daylight lifted by mirrors in every salon.
