White Roses and Gilded Mirrors at Chateau Bouffemont, Ile-de-France

Yannick and Vivianne's editorial at Chateau Bouffemont near Paris with sculptural orchid florals by Gian Fleuriste Decor. 82 photos by Demi's Design.

White roses cascading over limestone, ivory silk against gilded mirrors: Wedvibes Media and Demi's Design produced this editorial at Chateau Bouffemont, a private estate north of Paris. Styled by Arkadia Events with sculptural orchid installations by Gian Fleuriste Decor, every detail was rooted in modern French restraint across one of Ile-de-France's most striking wedding venues.

Getting Ready

Inside one of the chateau's light-washed dressing rooms, Myriam Pour Elle worked at a gilded vanity while the scent of white florals drifted up from the courtyard below. The Floure Studio gown, a bias-cut ivory silk charmeuse, pooled softly against pale parquet. Bridesmaids moved in unhurried steps, their V. Chapman gowns in a muted champagne-sage that echoed the room's warm stone.

Ceremony

The central courtyard became a living installation under Gian Fleuriste Decor's direction: white rose and orchid cascades framed the ceremony arch in tiers, with trailing smilax reaching toward the stone above. The cream-and-ivory palette merged with the chateau's limestone in certain light, creating a rare visual harmony where venue and styling felt inseparable.

In the salon corridor, afternoon light entered at a low angle and turned the limestone walls amber-gold. The Floure Studio gown moved exactly as silk should: decisively, without flutter. Demi's Design worked the contrast between the crisp silhouette and the textured plaster behind, using natural light only.

As the sun dropped behind the treeline, Demi's Design moved the couple to the rear terrace for portraits in the final available light. The silk charmeuse glowed in the golden hour while the groom's ivory linen suit responded in kind. A hand held loosely, a turned glance: the easy architecture of two people glad to be exactly where they are.

Bridal Party

Four bridesmaids in V. Chapman sage-champagne midi dresses carried tight clusters of ivory garden roses and eucalyptus wrapped in raw ivory ribbon. Against the chateau's stone exterior, the colour sat organic and unforced. A candid moment caught them laughing on the grand staircase, bouquets at their sides, the sound echoing up through the stairwell.

Reception

The reception table ran the full length of the grand dining salon. Oyster linen, crystal, bone-white porcelain, and low garden-rose centrepieces created an atmosphere more like a private dinner than an event. Candlelight multiplied in the original mirror panels. Arkadia Events had calibrated the room with precision: rich without being heavy, white without being cold. Your Dream Band carried the evening forward.

Design and Details

Gian Fleuriste Decor built the floral concept around white garden roses, phalaenopsis orchids, and climbing smilax, using the chateau's stone arches as natural infrastructure. Centrepieces combined ivory roses en masse with single stems of white lisianthus in aged brass vessels from NOCES. Table linens in raw oyster from CRAIE grounded the sculptural arrangements while crystal glassware scattered candlelight across the stone walls. Calligrapher S. Yang's minimalist stationery brought tailored finesse to each setting.

Venue

Red brick French chateau corner facade with cream stone detailing and slate mansard roof framed by blossoming branches
Grand red brick and limestone chateau with mansard roof, sweeping double staircase, and manicured topiary gardens
Second Empire chateau facade with red brick and limestone double-curved staircase and colonnaded terrace
Interior view through an arched doorway showing antique armoire, herringbone parquet floor, and silk curtains

Approaching Chateau Bouffemont from the gravel drive, the sculpted stone facade reads like a set piece: arched windows, symmetrical towers, ivy beginning its slow claim on the pale rendering. Inside, grand staircases sweep through salons layered with original mouldings and warm parquet. Rental pieces from CRAIE and NOCES, linen runners and aged brass candleholders, amplified the tactile richness without overwhelming the architecture.
