Ceremony

Vows were exchanged in the open air against the manor's honey-coloured stone facade, framed by mature greenery that needed no added decoration. Bouquets held loose clusters of ivory garden roses, white astrantia, and trailing silver-green eucalyptus. Applause lifted across the grass as the last words landed, spontaneous and unrehearsed.

Reception

Reception table with sage green runner, peach and blush floral centerpiece, white Chiavari chairs, fairy-lit hall
A wide interior shot of a wedding reception room set for dinner, with no guests present. The room features exposed dark wooden ceiling beams strung with multiple strands of warm fairy lights, two white chandelier-style pendant lights, and a backdrop of a dense fairy light curtain behind the head table positioned in front of a large stone fireplace. Round guest tables are dressed in white linen tablecloths and surrounded by white Napoleon/chiavari chairs, set with glassware, folded white napkins, and small floral centerpieces in muted tones of blush, rust, and dusty mauve. A long rectangular head table with a blush-toned runner is positioned against the back wall beneath the fireplace. The overall decor palette is warm white and gold with romantic rustic elements, mixing the exposed beam architecture with refined table settings. Potential venue feature image.
A wide shot of a decorated wedding reception dinner table set inside a room with a large stone fireplace as the focal backdrop. The table is dressed with a white linen tablecloth and a terracotta-rust colored satin runner, with multiple clusters of floral arrangements featuring blush, rust, and warm peach tones mixed with greenery, placed in glass vases. Tall sage green taper candles in brass candlestick holders are distributed along the table's length, accompanied by small tea light candles in dark votives at the table's edge. Wine bottles, glassware, and white folded napkins complete the place settings, along with a visible table name card. Behind the table to the left, a curtain of warm white fairy lights creates a glowing backdrop. The stone fireplace surround features circular wire monogram signs reading 'Mr' and 'Mrs' along with what appears to be a number or initial, and the fireplace itself is lit with a visible flame. White French-style chairs are partially visible at the right. The overall decor palette is warm and earthy with terracotta, sage, and brass tones in a classic-rustic style.

Long tables were set under open sky as dusk gathered over the Yvelines, candles registering as the garden light softened to deep amber. Guests settled into rattan-backed chairs, conversation and cutlery ebbing and swelling in the easy rhythm of a dinner nobody wanted to end. The manor's old stone walls held the warmth of the day well into evening.

Design and Details

Garden-style bouquet of blush peonies, peach blooms, and trailing eucalyptus on dark marble surface
A close-up detail shot of a ceremony aisle floral arrangement placed on the floor beside white Napoleon chairs at an indoor-outdoor venue with exposed stone walls. The arrangement combines white hydrangeas, deep red roses, eucalyptus branches, small-leafed green foliage, dried pampas grass, and burgundy berry stems, creating a boho-rustic aesthetic. Loose white flower petals are scattered across the concrete floor around the base of the arrangement, extending along the aisle. The color palette mixes ivory, deep red, sage green, and warm caramel tones from the dried grasses.
A wedding candy bar station set up outdoors in a garden or grounds, positioned in front of a tree. The setup features a two-tiered wooden cart with a slatted wood roof and black wrought-iron scrolled legs, decorated with a burlap pennant banner spelling out 'CANDY BAR'. The upper tier holds several glass apothecary jars and a large fishbowl filled with pink and white candies, striped paper popcorn cups, a copper lantern, and a small floral arrangement of cream and blush roses. The lower tier contains additional glass jars with cork lids filled with sweets and a small framed photograph. To the left of the cart, large clear glass bottles with cork stoppers are grouped on the ground alongside a tall vase holding dried pampas grass and feathery dried grasses in warm beige tones. The overall styling is rustic-boho with a warm neutral palette. Wide shot, no people visible.
A close-up flat lay detail shot of two wedding rings — one a gold diamond-set band and one a plain gold band — resting on a cream velvet surface, likely a ring box or pouch. The rings are surrounded by blush pink lisianthus blooms, dried purple statice sprigs, eucalyptus leaves, and soft pink dried pampas-style florals. To the left, a brass and glass geometric terrarium ring box holds additional dried and fresh florals in blush and cream tones. The overall styling palette is blush pink, cream, and muted sage, consistent with a romantic boho aesthetic. Soft, moody natural lighting with shallow depth of field.

Table runners in undyed washed linen sat against bare wood, anchored by low arrangements of white ranunculus, blush sweet peas, and sprigs of wild herbs. Menus were printed on heavyweight cotton-finish card in warm sepia ink. Cream pillar candles and slim tapers stood at varying heights, creating rhythm down each table. Rings in brushed gold and pave settings rested on raw silk alongside an ecru invitation suite with terracotta-ink lettering.

More from the Day

A close-up detail shot of a bridal bouquet resting on a dark grey marble-topped antique wooden dresser with brass hardware. The bouquet is arranged in a loose, garden-style design featuring blush peonies, white astilbe, white sweet peas, burgundy and dark-toned accent blooms, dried bunny tail grasses, small dark berry branches, and trailing eucalyptus foliage. The overall color palette is blush, ivory, deep burgundy, and green. The image is lit with dim, moody natural light against a dark teal-grey wall, with a gold-framed artwork partially visible in the upper right corner, giving the scene a dark, romantic interior atmosphere.

A pair of ivory block-heel ankle-strap shoes with embroidered floral toe detailing are placed in front of a loose bridal bouquet featuring blush peonies, mauve and dusty pink blooms, white lily-like flowers, and eucalyptus foliage. The background features a large painted landscape mural depicting trees and a country house, rendered in muted olive and ochre tones. The overall styling suggests a classic French interior setting with a romantic, painterly atmosphere.
