Crisp Whites and Canal Reflections at Domaine de Lamanon, Provence
An editorial celebration at Domaine de Lamanon near Aix-en-Provence, with canal-side vows and white garden styling. 52 photos by Roxane Nicolas.
This editorial celebration at Domaine de Lamanon, a canal-side estate near Aix-en-Provence drew on the property's ancient trees, still water, and warm stone architecture as its primary design elements. Coordinated by Ivory Romance, a trusted wedding planner in Provence, the day moved from canal-side vows to courtyard dining across this refined Provencal wedding destination near Aix-en-Provence.
Ceremony

The ceremony followed the natural sight lines of the canal at Domaine de Lamanon, with guests seated between rows of trimmed hedges and ancient trees. White roses marked the aisle, and the still water behind the couple reflected the afternoon light. Roxane Nicolas captured the exchange of vows from multiple angles, framing each moment against the estate's stone paths and green canopy.
Bridal Portraits

The bride wore a sleek, minimalist gown by Made with Love Bridal that moved easily across the lawn, paired with a veil by Elisabeth Veil and accessories by Paviot Createur. Roxane Nicolas positioned her beneath the shade of the ancient trees and against the warm stone facades, where the clean lines of the dress stood out against the soft textures of the Provencal landscape.
Couple Portraits

The couple stepped into the grounds of Domaine de Lamanon for portraits along the canal, across the lawns, and beneath the old trees. Their first moment together drew genuine emotion, both covering their mouths in surprise before settling into a quiet walk. Roxane Nicolas worked with natural light and reflections on the water, alternating between close-up intimacy and wider frames that placed the couple within the full scale of the estate.
Reception

Citron Pavot served baguettes, truffle-topped cheeses, local olives, and tapenade as guests gathered on the lawns for cocktails before moving to the courtyard table for dinner. Pristine white linens met tall candles and single stems in clear glass, while French garden chairs and vintage silverware added heritage without distraction. The cake stayed simple, finished with green leaves that echoed the surrounding garden.
Design and Details

Aeria Studio composed the floral work in whites and greens, with garden roses, lily stems, and trailing foliage arranged across ceremony and table settings. MDF Agency handled the stationery suite, while JANI Solution supplied the furniture and tableware. Art direction by Gambs Studio kept the palette restrained, letting the property's natural textures of stone, water, and aged wood anchor every surface.
