Chloe and James renewed their vows at Chateau de Sannes in Provence, with Alma Real bridal fashion, Joli Bazaar stoneware, and photography by Laurine Bailly.

Chloe and James renewed their vows at Chateau de Sannes, a refined vineyard estate in the Luberon, where formal gardens, reflective pools, and surrounding vineyards created a serene Provencal setting. Planned by Love is More Weddings, an experienced celebration coordinator in Provence, the day moved through the estate with calm precision, captured by Laurine Bailly in the golden light of a relaxed vineyard wedding celebration in the heart of Provence.

Getting Ready

Black-and-white portrait of a groom seated in a worn leather wingback armchair indoors, shot in three-quarter length. He is wearing a black tuxedo with satin lapels, a white dress shirt, a black bow tie, and a white pocket square, and has a short beard. His legs are crossed and he looks slightly off-camera with a relaxed expression. Behind him is an ornately carved wooden bench or settle, and a small side table holding a stack of books. The tiled floor and plastered wall suggest a classic or rustic interior setting. The image has strong contrast with bright highlights from a nearby window. He wears a white dress shirt, a navy satin bow tie, and a gold wedding band is visible on his right hand. The shot is a close-up torso portrait, cropped just below the chin and above the knees, with an ornate dark wood antique console or fireplace surround visible in the background, suggesting an interior room within a château or historic French property. © Laurine Bailly

The quiet ritual of getting ready felt genuinely unhurried, a mood that Laurine Bailly caught in available light without interference. Each frame held the warmth of a room not yet fully awake.

The vow renewal unfolded on the ceremony lawn as afternoon light filtered through lime trees, casting moving shadows across the aisle. Low floral arrangements in cream and sage flanked each row. Thomas Augier and second shooter Joffrey Wingrove flanked Laurine Bailly to capture the moment James turned before Chloe reached the walkway.

After the ceremony, the couple walked the vineyard rows in late-afternoon heat, vine leaves dry and aromatic underfoot. At the old mill, stone still warm from the day, Laurine Bailly worked in that particular quality of July light on pale stone. These portraits carry the texture of the Luberon landscape and the ease of two people who had already said their vows once and chose to mean them again.

Dinner moved to the terrace as the sky shifted from cobalt to indigo. Candles in hurricane lanterns caught the facets of Joli Bazaar glassware. Love is More Weddings timed every transition to the light, and the final hour, with the Luberon ridge dark against the last pink of the sky, closed with the calm rhythm of crickets and the clink of a coupe.

Joli Bazaar sand-toned stoneware sat on undyed ecru linen, while Be Lounge rattan chairs and curved settees lent the ease of a Provencal farmhouse. Arrosoir de Margaux centrepieces used garden roses, ivory-cream astilbe, and olive branch cuttings from the estate. Les Delices de Gladys created a four-tier buttercream cake pressed with fresh herbs and micro-flowers.

Two white vow booklets are displayed side by side — one reading 'To My Lovely Wife' and the other 'To My Dear Husband,' both personalised with the names Chloé & James and sealed with a white wax seal featuring gold floral detailing and gold corner accents. Surrounding the booklets are a white velvet jewelry box containing pearl and gold stud earrings, sprigs of purple wisteria and lilac blooms, small white lisianthus and astilbe flowers, aged handwritten letters, a sheer white veil, and white silk ribbon. The overall styling palette is white, gold, and soft purple, with a classic and romantic stationery aesthetic. © Laurine Bailly

Precieux Papier calligraphy envelope seals sat alongside Joli Bazaar stoneware in sand and stone tones. A champagne-gold satin ribbon looped around letterpress-crisp ivory cards with hand-painted botanical borders. The composition read like a Provence market in miniature, warm chalk and sage against the cool weight of a crystal flute.

The formal parterres and shaded avenues of Chateau de Sannes create a natural sequence of ceremony lawn, olive grove, old mill, and terrace. The reflective pool mirrors the sky in that particular Provencal cerulean, and stone facades shift from pale gold at noon to amber as the sun drops behind the vineyard ridge.

More from the Day

A bridal portrait taken indoors in what appears to be a French château interior, featuring a single bride standing on terracotta tile flooring. She wears a strapless ivory satin gown with a long cathedral-length train pooling on the floor, and holds a cascading bouquet of white peonies, purple wisteria, and trailing ivory amaranthus. The room features a large stone fireplace, exposed dark wood ceiling beams, white plaster walls, a dark antique wooden console table, a gold-framed mirror, and a table lamp, giving the space a classic French country interior feel. The shot is a full-length portrait with the bride facing the camera at a slight angle. © Laurine Bailly
