Fuchsia Anthurium and Parisian Grandeur at Alfred Sommier Hotel
Heloise and Mael's pink celebration at Hotel Alfred Sommier in Paris, with fuchsia anthurium, Cartier details, and dragon-fruit cake. 52 photos by Brice Lau.
Heloise and Mael celebrated at Hotel Alfred Sommier, a luxury boutique wedding venue in the heart of Paris, where gilded salons and crystal chandeliers framed a day built on bold pink tones and refined French design. Planner Amarande Events, a leading Parisian wedding planning studio guided the creative direction, blending fuchsia anthurium, dragon-fruit cake, and Cartier details into a celebration that felt elegant and contemporary among the best wedding venues in Ile-de-France.
Getting Ready

Heloise chose an off-the-shoulder gown by Jean-Daniel Brami paired with Jimmy Choo heels and Cartier jewelry. Nina styled hair and makeup in one of the hotel's gilded salons, where morning light caught the crystal chandeliers overhead. The fitted bodice and clean neckline set a refined tone against the ornate Haussmann interiors.
Bridal Portraits

Heloise stood framed by the tall white-panelled doorway of Hotel Alfred Sommier, her gown's off-the-shoulder silhouette sharp against the stone facade. Brice Lau captured her alone in the entrance courtyard, where shadows cut across pale walls and wrought-iron balconies added vertical rhythm to each frame.
Couple Portraits

Brice Lau photographed Heloise and Mael along the Haussmann streetscape outside the hotel, then on its cobbled forecourt with a brass luggage trolley as a playful prop. The images balanced candid laughter with composed stillness, using the city's architecture as a graphic backdrop. A brief first-look moment on the staircase preceded the portraits.
Reception

Long tables draped in white linen filled the panelled salon, where tall pink anthurium stems rose toward the chandeliers. Scattered pomegranates and textured stationery by Naya London added depth to each place setting. Maison Maylee's square-form cake dressed with dragon fruit, grapes, and petals stood as a sculptural centrepiece. Elln Come Comestible served cocktails while Reflets handled the floral and rental coordination throughout the evening.
Design and Details

The palette moved from soft blush to vivid fuchsia across every surface. Arts Distributor built arrangements that layered roses with anthurium and seasonal textures, carrying colour from ceremony through to dinner. Clear glassware and polished tabletop elements by Reflets reflected candlelight against the gilded mirrors, while the stationery suite echoed pink tones in watercolour washes.
Flat Lays

Cartier rings and invitation suites fanned across pale fabric, with the perfume bottle and Jimmy Choo heels completing the flat lay. Naya London's stationery featured hand-painted details that mirrored the blush-to-fuchsia palette of the wider design.
