Jessica and Will celebrated across a relaxed weekend at No.3 The Chateau, a boutique Napoleonic estate outside Bordeaux, where gravel drives, open lawns, and candlelit courtyards shaped every transition from ceremony to reception. Their all-white design and Bordeaux wine menus reflected the character of this elegant chateau wedding venue near Bordeaux in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

A getting-ready group portrait taken indoors in a bright, white-walled room with grey linen curtains, a ornate white vintage mirror on a dressing table, and a brass bed frame visible in the foreground. The bride stands on the right wearing a lace-bodice ballgown with a long tulle skirt and a cathedral-length veil, with her blonde hair styled up and a delicate hair accessory. She is joined by three bridesmaids in floor-length blush and champagne wrap-style dresses with short flutter sleeves, and two older women who appear to be mothers of the wedding party — one wearing a dusty pink midi dress with an off-shoulder lace top and a large blush fascinator hat, the other in a taupe-rose fitted dress with a rhinestone belt and a pink floral fascinator. The overall color palette is soft blush, champagne, and ivory throughout, giving the group a cohesive, classic look. The shot is a wide portrait taken at eye level with natural window light flooding in from behind the group. © Awardweddings

The gown features an illusion lace bodice with floral and leaf appliqué, a deep V-neckline, and a voluminous layered tulle skirt with an extended cathedral-length train; a long sheer tulle cape or veil drapes from the shoulders. Placed at the base of the dress are a pair of powder blue satin pointed-toe mule heels adorned with crystal embellishments. The overall styling is classic and bridal, shot as a full-length wide portrait. © Awardweddings

Jessica dressed in a Rosa Clara gown with lace detailing and a soft skirt that would later catch the blue-hour glow over the Bordeaux countryside. Final touches came together in one of the estate's upstairs rooms, where natural light from the tall windows warmed every detail. The morning felt unhurried, setting a calm tone for the day ahead.

The outdoor ceremony took place in the gardens of No.3 The Chateau, facing the estate's stone facade. Ribbons caught in the breeze along the aisle, while silk-stemmed arrangements blended with fresh white blooms to hold form in the warmth. Jessica and Will exchanged vows beneath the open sky as guests filled rows of white chairs on the manicured lawn.

Jessica and Will walked through the grounds of No.3 The Chateau for portraits along the gravel drive, beneath the trees, and beside the stone walls of the estate. The photographer used the open lawns and shaded courtyards to vary the mood between frames, balancing formal compositions against more relaxed, candid moments as the afternoon light shifted.

Cocktails began in the courtyard beneath clipped hedges and shuttered windows, with champagne poured as guests moved freely between the garden and the stone terrace. Dinner followed under a rustic wooden pergola strung with festoon lights, where menus highlighted local Bordeaux wine. A champagne tower signalled the start of toasts, and music carried the celebration seamlessly into the night.

Design and Details

A close-up detail shot of a wedding reception tablescape, shot at a slight angle along the length of a long banquet table. The table is dressed with a white linen and features a lush low floral runner composed of white garden roses, white hydrangeas, white orchids, and eucalyptus foliage. Each place setting includes a clear glass charger plate with a thin gold rim, white folded napkins with printed menus, matte gold flatware, and a set of three ribbed glassware pieces — a wine glass, champagne flute, and stemless-style glass — each with a gold-rimmed edge. The chairs visible on both sides are upholstered in cream or ivory fabric, with at least one rattan-back chair visible on the left. The overall palette is white, ivory, and gold with green accents, consistent with a classic, all-white formal reception style. No people are present in the image. © Awardweddings
Close-up detail shot of an outdoor wedding reception table setup, focusing on a large cascading floral arrangement at the end of a long banquet table covered in a white linen cloth. The arrangement is composed entirely of white flowers — including garden roses, hydrangeas, orchids, white anthurium, baby's breath, and lisianthus — mixed with lush green eucalyptus, fern fronds, and trailing foliage that spills down the side of the table and continues onto the ground below. The table is set with white plates, gold-rimmed glassware, and ribbed glass candle holders running along its length. Seating consists of natural wood Louis XVI-style cane-back chairs with ivory cushions, positioned on both sides of the table. In the background, additional long reception tables are visible, along with a hanging installation featuring white floral and crystal or ribbon details, suggesting a fully all-white and green decor palette with a classic, garden-style aesthetic. © Awardweddings

The all-white aesthetic ran through every surface, from the ceremony blooms to the reception table arrangements and the bridal accessories styled against cream damask. Candles lined the dinner tables alongside simple white florals in clear glass, while parasols along the garden paths added a practical charm. Rings and stationery were laid out on gold-edged trays that caught the afternoon light.
