Ivory Roses and a Champagne Tower at Chateau de Champlatreux, Ile-de-France
Sophie and Yancy married at Chateau de Champlatreux near Paris with ivory florals and a champagne tower. 73 photos by Alexia Privitera.
Sophie and Yancy brought uncontainable energy to Chateau de Champlatreux, a grand 18th-century wedding estate near Paris, where ivory satin met pale limestone and a basketball appeared mid-entrance. Agence LB coordinated the full day across the chateau's cream facades, mansard slate roof, and formal gardens stretching toward the horizon. Getting Ready

Sophie and her bridesmaids slipped into matching robes inside a salon lined with pale blue-grey boiserie and white rococo plasterwork. Kelly worked through warm nudes and tawny tones for makeup while a rack held the bridal gown beside four pale yellow bridesmaid dresses on gold hangers. Sophie held up two pairs of bridal shoes before settling on silver glitter Jimmy Choo stilettos, laughing with her eyes closed.
Ceremony

Beneath a circular floral arch dense with white roses, hydrangeas, and trailing greenery, Sophie and Yancy exchanged vows on the lawn with the grand fountain axis stretching behind them. Louis XVI-style chairs with cream upholstery lined the aisle. Handwritten readings and a recessional song that had the front row on their feet made the ceremony entirely theirs.
Bridal Portraits

Shot indoors against marble statues and ornate plasterwork, Sophie carried a pearl-trimmed clutch bag while her satin gown caught every shift in the angled light. The fabric glowed like antique candlelight against the pale interiors of the chateau.
Couple Portraits

Alexia Privitera moved the session through the full grounds: a cream Rolls-Royce Corniche convertible, the floral ceremony arch, tall French windows flooding rooms with backlight. In a bridesmaids-first reveal inside a powder-blue salon, hands reached out and laughter filled the room before Sophie had taken two steps. A black-and-white interior shot of the couple holding hands, entirely unposed, captures the quiet between louder moments.
Cocktail Hour

A champagne tower on the chateau steps drew the first collective cheer of the afternoon. Guests spread across the gravel forecourt beneath white market umbrellas while BarActif served signature cocktails from a dedicated bar station. An aerial view captured dozens of guests mingling against the grand classical facade.
Reception

Sophie and Yancy burst through tall French doors backlit by an arched transom window, the bride wearing heart-shaped novelty sunglasses printed "Mr and Mrs." Deep red damask walls and gilded frames surrounded round tables dressed in white linen, candles at varying heights casting warm light across crystal. MG Reception Traiteur Guerault handled the dinner while Monsukre Wedding delivered a piece montee to genuine applause. Sophie later changed into a short white strapless dress for dancing that lasted until midnight.
Design and Details

PEONIES studio filled the ceremony arch and reception tables with white garden roses, ivory pampas, and branching cappuccino seed pods. A live illustrator from Takeno Event sketched bespoke wedding portraits in ink that doubled as favours. Precieux Papiers designed the stationery suite in calligraphic champagne ink on pale blue-grey card, laid out alongside perfume and ribbon. A custom ivory banner printed "The Kothos" hung in a stone archway.
